Monitor construction process and perform quality surveillance as per ITP.
Perform inspections and verifications during construction and fabrication activities accordance with requirements of the inspection and test plans and company specifications.
Review design documents and be fully familiar with all scope of works.
Provide expertise to site team to avoid / resolve quality problems.

Monitor/inspect subcontractor’s and supplier’s procedures, materials, documentation, testing activities and calibration activities.
Progressive compilation of project data records (manufacturer’s data records).
Carryout all inspection in conjunction with the discipline engineer.
Liaise with client’s representatives in relation to standard codes and specifications and project requirements.
Ensure all manufacturer’s data record sign offs are carried out by all relevant parties progressively and in a timely manner.
• Perform the day-to-day QA/QC inspections on instrumentation works at construction site.
• Coordinate closely with CONTRACTOR/CLIENT to minimize work interference due to engineering or construction quality problems.
• Ensure that proper quality control techniques and procedures are established by the construction.
• Maintain and organize detailed records on various jobsites (refineries or oil and gas) and on the fabrication and inspection works.
• Develop and execute QA/QC work packages and procedures.
• Reviewing project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with craft and supervisors to minimise work interference due to engineering.
• Participate in the resolution of quality problems as directed.
• Perform visual instrumentation inspections and mentor new workers.
• Prepare and execute inspection test plans.
• Review existing and new project documents for compliance.
• Perform inspections and documentations as required by local state federal client requirements.
• Solving construction related quality problems if necessary.
• Ensure that proper quality control techniques and procedures are established.

• Conduction and supervision of receiving inspection, In-process inspection and final inspection of instrumentation related products and construction work.
• Keep QA engineer advised on below average performance for appropriate action.
• Ensure that quality control is carried out during the installation phase. This shall include but not limited to the following items: (Wires, cables and cable glands, cable trays, batteries and chargers, navigation aids, communication system, fire and gas panels, equipment and facilities tagging, tubing’s and fittings, supports and brackets, instrument calibrations).
• Supervise and witness megger test and continuity check for all cables.
• Supervise and witness tubing’s, leak tests and loop checking.
• Monitor the company’s effort to verify that instrument material and equipment supplied meet the project specifications in a timely manner.
• Ensure correct inventory and proper inspection records are maintained.
• Accountable for witnessing calibration, installation, loop checking & functional tests of pressure, flow, temperature and level instruments, Analysers, Control/On-Off valves, Motor operated valves and Fire & Gas Instruments.

• Conducting final inspection of instrumentation installation prior to system handover punch lists.
• Implementing factory acceptance tests (FAT), site installation tests (SIT), site acceptance tests (SAT) and approving check sheets of various components of integrated process control & safety systems;
