• Implementation of VCGP financial controls aver the project (ERP-ELODIE, CASSIUS, DEMAT)
• Guide, control and motivate a team of Accountant, Accounts Payable Accountant, Petty Cash Accountant, and Payroll Accountants.
• Effectively maintain day-to-day financial control and ensure that usage of appropriate financial regulations & controls are in place at all times (Auditors-Deloitte)

• Work with all relevant project personnel to ensure that cost control procedures are in place.
• Assist is setting up project(s) with Computerized Cost System upon agreed format.
• Assisting the project manager in identifying and gaining approval of estimates/change requests.
• Reviewing cost commitment and expenditure information for all cost elements, for input to the computerized cost control and reporting system on a consistent basis and ensuring that all information received is accurate and correctly input.
• Producing regular cost reports and advising management of any forecast cost overruns as soon as possible to allow corrective actions to be taken in a timely manner.
• Highlighting cost areas of concern and suggesting areas of improvement.
• Maintaining comprehensive accessible registers of financial approvals, variations and change orders.
• Liaising with the finance department with regards to establishing monthly evaluation of work done, goods received and services rendered for invoice preparation and verification.
• Ensure that all cost related work is in compliance with procurement contracts
• Preparation & Presentation of monthly cost reports to CEO and board of directors (monthly)
• Preparation and presentation of budgets (yearly)
Senior Accountant, QDVC since June, 2014 to Sep, 2016 (2 and half years)
• Complete implementation of VCGP system in the project and establishment of the accounts department from the beginning of the project (ERP-ELODIE, CASSIUS, DEMAT)
• Guide, control and motivate a team of Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable Accountant, Petty Cash Accountant, Payroll Accountant and other staff to achieve peak performance
• Effectively maintain day-to-day financial control and ensure that usage of appropriate financial regulations & controls are in place at all times (Auditors-Deloitte)
• Interface extensively with Masraf Al Rayan Bank, Qatar, etc. to finance the project (excellent knowledge gathered on Islamic financing models)
• Build and nurture an excellent relationship with the banks of Corporate Finance Heads & Relationship Managers
• Efficiently interact with the Ministry of Finance for tax filing and to update knowledge on Qatar taxation rules
• Prepare Audit programs complying accounting standards and closely work with Auditors for yearly auditing (Deloitte)
• Monthly closing of accounts and reporting as per VCGP requirements
