• Developed copious Automotive and Industrial products and obtained numerous OEM approvals (BMW, VW, MB
Ford Denison, Flender, Bosch Rexroth, Eaton, Danielli, Morgan, etc.) available in the market worldwide
• Proficiently evaluated and developed various lubricants by conducting field trial field trials (CNG cars, OEM branded
vehicles, various industrial equipment’s, etc.) and established customer value proposition e.g. long drain interval,
approvals, energy efficiency, system efficient etc.
• Expertly instigated automotive lubricant product technologies meeting ACEA 2016 specification across the world for
Gulf Oil International
• Successfully implemented the European Engine Lubricants Quality management system across world as per ATIEL
requirement. This implementation facilitated in revoking of FORD, Scania, MB approvals on various products and
value added business
• Independently assisted Global operations team which helped in value added business by
a. Provided 300 product formulation to Belgium blending plant during transition,
b. Provided sustained technical /customer support to China, Europe, India, South East Asia

• Exclusively spearhead role in setting up of infrastructure (preparing design, identifying and evaluating vendors for
turnkey project involving Lab furniture, HVAC, GDS, electrical civil and interiors, commissioning of R & D Centre as
per international and safety standard) for Gulf Oil Research and development Centre Global Technology Centre and
Gulf Oil QC lab in Chennai
• Additional responsibility of Quality head of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL) plant in Silvassa and Chennai for 2
years and ensured 100% product quality compliance at the time of filling for lubricants, specialties, AdBlue, etc.
• Lead role in setting up the quality assurance system for Supplying AdBlue to OEMs and successfully implemented
VDA QMC guidelines in Silvassa plant.
• Provided inputs in implementing the safety practices, improvement in plant processes, using cost effective
formulation, etc. in GOLIL plant.
• Assisted Houghton (HI) in implementing GLP for blending HI products in Gulf Oil Silvassa blending plant.
Actively involved in OSS process technology to produce GEN 3 Process Fuel Oil (PFO) from used oil
• Provided process for cost optimization in OSS - PFO production plant and had showed high value added monetary
benefits and opened opportunities for producing higher quality GEN 4 PFO.
• Provided extensive support to proposed Lube Oil commercial project by carrying out the detailed research work in
purification of Used lubricating oil to produce Gr II and Gr III Base oils at UK
• Performed in depth Lab studies in demetallisation of used oil to make the feed suitable for hydrotreating for the
Lube oil commercial project.
• Developed plans for QC/QA requirements for the new Transformer Oil business at UK.
• Member of BSI GEL10 and IEC TC10 committee and is UK expert in Transformer oil.

Analytical Research Lab (PTIN/PTD/TASE), Bengaluru, as an Analysis

Played a stellar role in development of automotive lubricants by screening various petrol/gasoline and diesel engine oil
additive packages using specialized equipment’s and conducting field trials.
• Served as an integral part of the R & D team in development of high performance and customized Industrial Lubricants
- Polymer Quenchants for Forging Industry; Quenching Oils; Turbine Oils; Compressor Oils; Shock- absorber Oil; Textile
Lubricants, etc.
• Expertise in setting up state of art laboratory facilities for testing Lubricating oils, Fuels, Base oils and other incoming raw
materials.
• Spearheaded procurement, installation and commissioning of new sophisticated equipment’s- ICP-OES, HPLC, FZG rig,
GC, Rheology, Tribology and other analytical equipment’s, etc.
• Developed methods on ICP-OES, FTIR, GC, HPLC, etc. equipment’s for analysis of fuels, lubricants, additives, etc.
• Lead role in developing branded fuel (Speed, Speed 93, Speed 97 and Hi-Speed HSD) which has been a trend setter in
India.
• Lead role in assisting in Quality control labs in setting the procedures for lubes (specially checking the adulterations),
fuels and fuel additives.
• Single handedly developed customized Winter Grade Diesel for various OEMS viz. VOLVO, TATA Motors, Bosch, etc.
• Developed of new analytical methods for checking the adulteration in fuels, 2-T oils, premium fuels, finished
lubricants, greases, used oils, screening additives, decoding competitors’ products, etc.
• Main role holder in implementation of LIMS in R & D Centre.
• Provided analytical and technical support across the country for Lubes SBU and other SBU’s for development and
marketing of fuels (throughout India) and lubricants.
• Provided the value added customer support services to all customers as and when required in terms of conducting trials,
condition monitoring, business growth, supporting the sales team, product analysis, assisting the Quality Control lab and
sales team, etc.
• Capital and Revenue expenditure management for R&D and Quality control set-up (22 labs).
• Resource person for providing hands-on training to other officers/analysts in the R & D Centre and QC Labs on analytical
