• Check and Certify the Contractor’s payment application
• Review and confirm Contract quantities and measurements
• Review the Contractor’s variations and evaluate the Contractor’s Claims and preparation of draft variation order and draft recommendation of claims for Employer’s approval after negotiating with the Contractor

• Coordinate all matters regarding contract administration, claims, disputes, contract interpretation and cost analysis with the Employer and the Contractor
Construction Port Access Elevated Highway Project, China Civil Engineering Construction Co-operation Main Contractor, Contracts Engineer;
• Addressed Site measurement, variation orders, Day works records
• Prepared interim payment application with supporting documents
• Prepared of Contractual Claims and negotiate with the Engineer to finalize ( EOT and Cost Claim for Site possession Delays), (EOT and Cost Claim for impact due to COVID19) etc.

Extension of Southern Expressway Road Project From Matara to Hambanthota (Section 01-From Matara to Beliatta- Sri Lanka) Ocyana Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, Programing & Contracts Engineer
• Developing the Project Performance management system to monitor progress of the Project Implementation
• Preparing weekly and monthly Progress reports
• Evaluating, negotiating and finalization of Claims Submitted by the Contractor and participate to the discussions with DAB
Being Contract Administrator in the project, I am fully responsible for the commercial department to maintain the Progress, Maintain the Cost while maintaining the quality defined in the Project specifications
• Preparing and Submission of all Contractual Claims and Variation
o Extension of Time due to delay of handing over
o Evaluation cost and time impact of changes to the original scope
o Revision of the rates - Additional Cost for the item which the Quantity has drastically decreased
o Extension of Time for completion due to Suspension of the project
o Preparation and submission of variation for Extra / additional works
• Preparing and Submission of Monthly Interim payments
• Negotiation and finalizing all other contractual matter throughout the course of the contract with the Engineer and the Employer
