Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overall Responsible for Profit & Loss (E&I) of the projects.
• Preparation of Project Baseline Schedule (Level-4) and Project Master Schedule (Up to Level-6) in Primavera P6, MS Project by going through contract info, estimated budget documents.
• Understanding project work scope, construction contracts, budget, cost centres, expense heads, work breakdown structures (WBS) and organization breakdown structures (OBS).
• Implementing the EVM (Earn Value Management) technique to monitor SV (Schedule Variance) and CV (Cost Variance).
• Identification of risk in Project schedule and proposing solutions.
• Producing the manpower and equipment Histograms and Mobilization plans for the project and generation of corresponding progress S-Curve for the project.
• Liaison with client regarding documentation approvals (Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, Job Safety Analysis Rigging Studies, Inspection Work Lists and Additional Scope Requests etc.) and anticipated bottlenecks ensuring smooth progress.
• Responsible for the Training & Implementation of Project Management Systems (P3, P6, Descon’s Monitoring System PROCeSs etc.) on Site.
• Preparation of Summary Reports for the Top Management and Project Reporting
• Develop Action and Recovery plans to support project delivery on time.
• Lead budget preparation and forecasts.
• Project Cost Controls Analysis & Reporting
• Devising Improvement Strategies for improving Overall Project Performance
• Ensuring Compliance to Group Procedure & Best Practices for controlling Strategic Projects.
• Schedule Conflicts and Issues Management.
• Resource Planning and Optimization
• Ensure budgetary control before authorization of expenditure (CAPEX & OPEX).
• Participation in daily, weekly and monthly meetings with construction management to review previous progress, efficiency analysis and future plans.
• Monitoring & Analysis of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports & preparation of Comparison reports with Base line Schedule.(Complete Documentation, Project Invoicing, P&L Calculation as planned)
• Client Satisfaction through Quality Inspection Audits during & after Project Completion including a third party audit.
• Support for Material / Equipment Ordering as well as Project Plans Procedures Development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation and Monitoring of Integrated Plan involving Procurement, Construction, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Plant Maintenance Plan.
• Monitoring the progress to ensure the smooth progression of the Turnaround and raising flags for anticipated delays.
• Preparation& Tracking of the project master schedule & detailed schedule of civil, mechanical & electrical work up to level-6 and summary level curves and Man power histogram using Primavera P-6.
• Identification, Monitoring& Streamlining of critical paths running through the Project master Schedule and individual contracts.
• Daily, Weekly/Monthly reports generation including ‘S’-curves for client & Management review for the close monitoring of the planned vs actual curves, Submission of the catch up plans on the daily progress.
• Overall Planning and Monitoring of resource, cost, durations, material and machinery for using the project management tools.
• Cost control by Optimization of Resources utilization.
• Calculating and presenting Cost Performance index, Schedule performance index, Cost variance, Schedule variance and % Productivity to management.
• Understanding project work scope, needs and deliverables, contract milestones.
• Establishing and implementing methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties.
• Providing weekly & monthly targets to the project team and monitoring the accomplishments. Liaise, consult and coordinate with all Engineers and Managers to incorporate relevant information that will effect in implementation of the project schedule
• Calculate cost estimation of man-hours & equipment for additional and modification work.
• To complete the Projects and Maintenance Shutdowns within stipulated period with a strong network of planning and monitoring.
•Development of the Shutdown Execution Plan and generating work packs covering technical issues, isolations, advising on manpower and materials aspects of agreed shutdown work scopes.
• Coordinating with sub-contractors.
• Preparation of documents which address the customer and company requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Preparing MTO & BOQ of several areas of Projects.
• Ensuring that staff/workers following the HSE rules & regulation.
Key responsibilities involved;
• Operation & maintenance of various range of Transmission & Distribution lines 11KV/433V Sub-Stations.
• Operation & maintenance of different ratings of Transformers.
• Operation & maintenance of Electrical panels and various Electrical loads.
• Operation & maintenance of different ratings of DG sets with AMF panel.
• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of Utility & Spinning unit.
• Maintenance & servicing electrical wiring & supervising all Electrical Works.
• Troubleshooting of Inverters (ABB, YASKAWA, KEB, and MADIENSHA).
• Maintenance of Distributed control system DCS (YOKOGAWA)
• Troubleshooting of PLC problems on real time.
• Preparation of plans for preventive maintenance of electrical, electronic components of power & control equipment.
• Planning, scheduling and supervision of electrical maintenance activities.
• Plant Emergency Handling.
• To suggest & implement modifications for the improvement of unit operation.
• Understanding name Plate information of Transformers, Motors & Generators.
• Understanding of Motor control centres (MCC) & their components.
• Electric Motor Testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), PFE approval procedures, Material Inspection, Electricity Duty Calculations.
• Understanding Transformer Dehydration, IEC-Standards for Hazardous Area Classification of Equipment’s.
• Understanding & Maintenance of Temperature, Pressure, Level & Flow Instruments, its calibration like ( pt100, PH transmitter, Vortex flow meter, magnetic flow meter, PID controller, control valves, Control Loops, sensors etc.)
My degree focussed on core concepts of Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Engineering. Major courses are Power Systems Protection, Power Systems Operations and Control, Power System Analysis and Design, Power Electronics, High Voltage Engineering, Power Generation. Transmission & Distribution, Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Industrial Electronics. • Participated in Quiz Competition TECH FAIR 2008 arranged by G.C University Faisalabad. • Attended IEEE week 2009, 2010, 2011 held in FAST, NU Lahore. • Won Technical Quiz Competition in Tech-Hawk 2009 organized by The University of Faisalabad • Worked as a Volunteer in Wake-Up Pakistan 2010 Seminar arranged by Green Community. • Worked as a Main Organizer.
