 Managing the Financial Institutions desk which involves developing existing/new business relations with financial institutions and strategy formulation. Team management.
 In charge of developing the NBFI sector in EMEA and identifying trade finance, syndication and treasury opportunities
 Identifying cross-selling opportunities while liaising with clients, accomplishing their needs and building positive relations.
 Enabling business development while selling/structuring trade finance, syndication (lending), treasury products (FX, swaps, money market, trade investments and CDs), DCM (MTN bonds and securitisation) and cash management (RMB/CNY).
 Redeveloping the relationship model while striving towards rationalisation/segmentation, gap analysis and competitive intelligence. Creating Bank wide procedures and policies for the Institutional Banking department
 Effectively negotiating fees/pricing/credit and loan agreements and preparing term sheets; drafting credit proposals, working on financials and presenting proposals in credit committees.
 Instrumental in the launch of an EMTN (Bond) programme and a CD programme. Spearing the relationship management team and coordinating the KYC client due diligence process.
 Overseeing integration process and operational requirement of regulation including Mifid, Fatca and client onboarding.
 Devising funding strategies (EMTN and CD) and steering cross-selling activities via existing and new FI relations, thus adding value to the business. Restructuring client relationship model and directing market data and competitive intelligence.
