• Supervising complete logistics operations right from Proforma/Quotation creation, Order receiving, Production Order Creation, liaising with all internal and external parties involve in final dispatch of the goods.
• Supervising distribution centers operations, inventory management, on time delivery to customers and cost effectiveness.
• Involve with local government agencies for all outbound shipments and coordinating with sea/air/land freight forwarders, customs clearing agent at ports and borders for maintaining the status of all outbound shipments to update customer about order status.
• Working in close collaboration with various departments including sales team to comprehend and set customer priorities and production planning to fabricate material in accordance with set priorities for proper flow of work. organizing weekly production Vs sales meetings to discuss production plan for various customers and production line based on customer’s priority and production capacity.
• Communicating effectively with Customers, 3PL/4PL transport agent and freight forwarders for cost reduction and enhanced prompt services to consistently chart a rising business curve for company services.
• Arranging freight and services quotations from service providers and finalizing based on merit of services and cost effectiveness.
• Resolving customer complaints and area of concerns related to the distribution by performing required action and ensured that appropriate changes are made to resolve problems faced by customers.
• Foreseeing the quantity, quality and efficiency of the movement of shipments, thereby expediting requisite documentation of the same for tracking movement of goods as per company and local regulations.
• Supervising and monitoring overall activities of the subordinates and providing staff in-house training to improve employee performance and accordingly encouraging teamwork within workforce to assure that set productivity and department KPI targets are met.
• Preparing management reports for pending orders status, on time delivery performance, monthly/quarterly sales forecast.
• Responsible for monitoring accounts comprising of receivable/ payables, LC issues and resolving various other related issues if involved to chart out short and long term strategic goals and objectives with corresponding milestones.

Achievements:
• Reduced significantly overall transportation and freight cost by signing new contract agreements with 3PL/4PL Freight forwarders and service providers.
• Instrumental in changing containers/trailer loading patterns to maximize load ability for cost effectiveness.
• Achieved on time delivery targets (OTAPIF 100%) to all customers.
• Instrumental in setting up distribution HUB in EU and USA.
• As a member of management team, played an important role in obtaining ISO/CE/Environment/Health and safety certificates.
