• Preparation of Complete baseline schedule in Primavera (P6-18) Level-III & Level- IV, Progress S-curve, and Calculation of resources required to complete the Project construction & commissioning.
• Work closely with EPC contractor’s planning team to develop EPC Schedule and progress measurement system.
• Review EPC contractor & subcontractor schedule and integrated into master integrated schedule.
• Review and endorse Equipment and Manpower histograms direct/indirect histograms, mobilization and demobilizations plan.
• Reviews and checks EPC Contractor’s progress reports for accuracy of progress measurement. Verifies, reviews and endorses claimed progress reported by EPC Contractor.
• Monitor and analyze Schedule Levels, Activities logics & sequence, Work break down Structure, milestones and bottlenecks /constraints by using Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Monitoring progress throughout the work process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work, timeline management and advising the Project Managers of actual and expected slippages.
• Review and analyze main contractor activities schedule, level of details & interfaces.
• Reviews EPC Contractor’s main subcontractor schedules and ensures that they have been correctly integrated into Overall EPC Schedule.
• Reviews EPC Contractor’s vendors and suppliers manufacturing durations for both critical equipment and bulks and ensures that they have been correctly integrated into Overall EPC Schedule.
• Reviews and endorses schedule and progress Baselines and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor.
• Analyzes schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.
• Reviews schedule basis of Contractor's change proposals - reviews and endorses changes with regards to schedule and progress impact.
• Analyzes the planned quantity metrics projections for all home office and site disciplines (e.g. Civil, Steel Structure, Piping, Electrical, etc.). Monitors actual metrics quantities completed against planned.
• Overall responsibility of planning section, ensures sufficient action is taken to keep the schedule on track and protect company from potential claims.
• Review, monitor and control of contractor look ahead schedule and compare with company integrated schedule.
• Review & monitor contractors vendor packages and manufacturing details for major & critical equipment and ensure all are integrated to the master schedule.
• Carry out Plan Risk Analysis identify the slippage, prepare recovery/contingency plan whenever schedule slippage occurs.
• Close coordination with Project manager, commissioning Manager and Execution team to perform smooth works on site according to updated schedule.
• Prepare weekly, monthly & executive project reports and any adhoc reports including development of progress metrics, Earned Values and key performance indicators required by project management.
• Attend Daily Commissioning/Startup Meetings to communicate and update the schedule, progress & targets.
• Vendor mobilization tracking and monitoring to comply with the commissioning schedule.
• Ensure the compliance of HSE policies and procedures with maintenance activities by utilization of JSA, Risk Assessment, PTW & regular audits.
• Co-ordinate with warehouse to ensure the timely and coordinated availability of parts, materials, special tools and processing of service requests for efficient work execution.
• Management, planning and controlling of Maintenance, repair and inspection projects/ Shutdowns/ TARs with the target, to deliver customer projects within time and budget.
• Understand project scope and establish planning, scheduling & reporting requirements in line with Contract Agreement.
• Responsible for developing resource loaded & logically sequenced detailed project baseline schedule for overall turnaround scope including pre-turnaround (Pre-TA), turnaround execution & post turnaround (post-TA) phases.
• Establish formats & frequency for progress reporting of project.
• Follow up and integration of subcontractor's schedules to the project master schedule.
• Preparation of project bar charts / manpower (histograms) & equipment and regular updating.
• Verify & consolidate resource requirements (manpower, equipment’s, tools/ consumables) based on norms and project schedule requirements.
• Sets up alert for all important contractual & milestone dates.
• Assign tasks and supervises the works of Reporting engineers & Area Planners.
• Extract look-ahead schedules and provide to Construction team & Area planners for implementation.
• Monitor progress & update project schedule versus baseline schedule; and adjust schedule for any scope change.
• Monitor Critical/ Near-critical activities and report any deviation from schedule to Turnaround manager & concerned Site engineer.
• Provide scheduling support to Contract Engineer regarding any variation or change order.
• Attend craft/ FE turnover meetings. Communicate shift results and expectations for next shift.
• Review job packages and walk down assigned tasks/ progress with Site Engineer/ Supervisor.
• Review Contractors progress and invoicing issues and verifying daily time sheets.
• Preparation of Complete resource loaded Baseline schedule in Primavera (P6.7) Level-III & Level- IV, Progress S-curve, and Calculation of resources required to complete the Projects / Shutdowns.
• Preparation of Equipment and Manpower histograms direct/indirect histograms, mobilization and demobilizations plan.
• Preparation & Implementation of the Progress Measurement System as per Progress Measurement Procedure, & Schedule Levels, Work break down Structure, assign milestones and constraints by using Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Monitoring progress throughout the work process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work and advising the Project Managers of actual and expected slippages.
• Preparation of 2-week schedule based on work front availability though Primavera P6.
• Carry out Plan Risk Analysis identify the slippage, Prepare recovery/contingency plan whenever schedule slippage occurs.
• Close coordination with Planning Manager, Project Manager & Execution team in order to perform smooth works on site according to updated schedule.
• Preparation of project budget including subcontractors tools, equipment and manpower.
• Prepares detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements for each step for Shutdowns.
• Attend Daily Planning/Scheduling Meeting to achieve the targets.
• Daily progress monitoring for site, generating reports Planned VS actual, S-curve.
• Review subcontractor Schedules, Site progress and invoices.
• Ensure the compliance of HSE policies and procedures with maintenance activities by utilization of JSA, Risk Assessment, PTW & regular audits.
• Contribute in integrated planning and Scheduling for Weekly and monthly reports.
• Co-ordinate with warehouse to ensure the timely and coordinated availability of parts, materials, special tools and processing of service requests for efficient work execution.
