•Procurement Management:
•Led the procurement function and overseeing all aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategy, tools and process implementation for procurement related to goods and services.
•Established Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), periodic RFP’s and supplier performance metrics reporting.
•Proactively managed all projects and program management areas, including scope, cost, schedule, resources, Hardware/Software procurement, risk, quality, Vendor Management, Program Governance, Projects Architecture, Critical Path Analysis, IT Roadmap and process Development etc. Based on ITIL framework.
Program (Multiple-Projects)
•AD (Active Directory) Migration: Create a new AD Forest/ Domain for the new organization and merge ~11, 000 users from the existing domains into the new Forest/domain via QMM (Quest Migration Manager).
•Led Data-centric projects to Deploy EMC BIG DATA solution EMC Isilon to consolidate Data from multiple systems from both Hospitals.
•DCC (Data Center Consolidation): Merging 3 x Data Centers into One Consolidated Data Center (PaaS, IaaS, Building of Racks, Rack Cabling SOA -architecture as per TIA-942 and Infrastructure within same facility - following WHMIS & Health & Safety regulations) / migration of NAS /SANs Data to EMC VNX, Windows Servers from physical to Virtual (VMWare Clusters (P2V, V2V), Linux, SQL / Application migration, Identity and access management (IAM), Cyber Security and re-Design of DMZ.
•Leading a Team of 10 x PM’s (Project Managers) for Multiple Applications. Generating Program Milestone Reports on Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly basis for Steering Committee Meetings (5 x Directors & 1 x V.P).
•Windows 7 Migration: Migrate 11, 000 computers to Windows 7 from Windows XP with Custom 12, 000 HealthCare Applications. In-Place upgrade ~5, 000, Hardware Refresh of 6000 PC’s. Stress / smoke testing applications / CiTRiX applications on Windows 7 & some Windows 8.1 computers / Laptops. Upgrading from IE 8 (Internet Explorer) to IE 10. Deployed via Dell KACE Systems Management appliance.
•BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) / Mobile Device: Migrate BES Servers from current Domain to a new Domain, Build & deploy new BES Servers and migrate Blackberry / other devices from BES 5 to BES 10.
•Common Exchange 2013 & MS Lync 2013: Implement a new common Microsoft Lync and Exchange 2013 organization and migrate 11, 000 users. Enable Custom VPN Tunnel with E-Health for Hospitals Email routing.
•Access Management: Implement new access management and user provisioning processes to support the newly merged entity. Consolidated Access Management project for the implementation of a new Imprivata Single-Sign-On environment to support the new Domain.
•Applications: Test and certify applications for use on Windows 7 and Active Directory 2008-R2 & 2012.
•Security: Review solutions to ensure they are secured and as per compliance standards.
•Networking: Remote Access, VPN (Appliance, Tokens (RSA & Vasco), VoIP and Telecom infrastructure.
•Storage & Backup: Provisioning space and ensuring all new systems are adequately backed up & get migrated to new EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems.
