Responsible for supervising technical teams installation, maintenance, commissioning, configuring, troubleshooting and documenting security requirements for new CCTV & PAGA upgrade Projects for Onshore, Offshore and Plant Facilities.
• Responsible for carry out the skilled maintenance and repair of Company telecommunications equipments. installation, configuration, troubleshooting and documentation of Fire and Gas Alarms systems such as PAGA Gai-Tronics, , Federal Signal system, Access control system, PABX, Structured cabling system, VHF/UHF Radio microwave radio antennas, power supplies at Raslafan LNG Plant and offshore facilities, submit reports to Management using MS Office.
• Responsible for improving and maintaining RasGas ship to shore link ESD communication systems (24/7) during hot summers and seasonal sand storms.
•Responsible for Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures on Ras Gas company communication systems.
Responsible for mentoring junior members on the team with RasGas business requirements and submit reports to Management.
• Responsible for execution of planned routine maintenance as per laid down procedures and schedules and prepares reports on completed work prepares work permits and generally ensures that work carried out in safe and orderly manners as per laid down procedures. Ensures all communications systems manuals and drawings are available and assists in updating to include all modifications/upgrades etc. Follows up and keeps records of equipment dispatch and received from Vendors after repairs. Follows up status of spares stock and prepares requirements to supervisor.
• Carries out maintenance and repair, up to 3rd line maintenance, on all communications systems, subsystems and accessories. Ensures that systems/equipment is brought back to original specifications and work carried out to a high standard.
•Liaises with supervisor on more complicated problems/anomalies and discusses solutions/seeks advice. Reviews end-users requirements, co-ordinates schedules and work execution programs and prepares actions/recommendations to line supervisor
• Responsible for organizes workshop activities, keeps history records of all equipment and ensures that test equipment are in good working condition. Ensures that tools and consumables are available at all times. Prepares status reports and requirement to line supervisor.
• Responsible for Inspects received equipment and ensures correct consignments are received. Prepares discrepancy reports to line supervisor.
• Assists and coordinates with colleagues offshore and onshore including periodical visits. Attends to routine/emergency situations outside working hours such as Telecommunication systems hook-up for LNG takers, etc
• Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.
Responsibilities: My work supports management which includes co-ordination with our technical team for installation commissioning and maintenance, testing of low current system, CCTV Security alarms system, microwave radios antennas system, fiber optic, infrastructures cabling system, PAGA System Audio video system, , also support works and time scheduling for project and manpower managements at site, handling service calls, assigning daily work.
