Establishes, develops, and maintains a portfolio of Commercial Clients (Mid Corps/Large Corporates) across Dubai, Sharjah & Northern Emirates ensuring that new relationships and/or ongoing requirements of existing clients attain maximum revenue within acceptable risk profile.
Markets to existing and potential clients the full complement of products and services offered by the Bank including Treasury, Cash Management / Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, and Personal Banking.
Manages, trains and appraises a dedicated team of SRMs, RMs, and Analysts in order to develop their Client Relationship skills and motivate them to contribute to achievement of
job and team/unit objectives.

• Involved in originating and structuring trade / commodity finance & long term finance facilities for midmarket to large local corporates situated in Dubai and Sharjah / Northern Emirates together with marketing & building new relationships in line with bank’s business strategy.
• Ensure timely & accurate credit administration through prompt completion of annual credit reviews / proposals and regular monitoring of financials, covenants, and other parameters.
• Expand & grow profitable long term relationships with existing and new-to-bank clients (mid-market + large local corporates).
• Develop client focused solutions to improve penetration and overcome competition with main focus towards structured trade finance.
• Ensuring that clients are being well served by all segments of the Bank; building needs based customer relationships.
• Supervise & submit detailed credit proposals.
• Maximize cross selling opportunities i.e. payments & cash management (worked on mandates offering domestic & cross border liquidity solutions and receivable/payment/delivery channel solutions, commercial cards, etc), trade & supply chain, insurance, wealth management, private banking, receivable finance, etc.
• Ensure that the team of relationship managers and assistant managers is properly coached trained, supported, guided, and resourced to exceed service & sales targets, enhance revenue and deliver first class service to clients. Importantly to ensure control of risk management and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Deputize for the Head of Corporate Banking (Jebel Ali) as and when required.
• Develop & manage a high quality portfolio and marketing fresh lending relationships to assist gainful deployment of funds. Current portfolio size: US$135m
• Originate & execute syndicated facilities & project finance
• Solicit incremental deposit to ensure growth & development of the bank.
• Appraise risk assets to conduct credit decisions.
• Supervise/prepare credit applications.
• Enhance productivity and develop staff available under supervision.
• Manage assigned credit portfolio worth over US$85m comprising of local corporates and middle market customers.
• Prepare/review credit applications and ensure proper structure of facilities matching with financing requirements & available collateral arrangements. Monitor lending limits; manage credit and trade finance requirements of the aforesaid credit portfolio including syndicated facilities.
• Ensure maximum profitability from the assigned portfolio and generate trade volumes according to assigned targets.
• Principal responsibilities included drafting investment objectives/policy; accountable for asset allocation with objective of maximizing profits with maximum degree of protection; conducting fundamental analysis of industry/company to assist senior management in making investment decisions; participated in proposals with respect to equity, floating rate notes, asset backed securities, government bills/bonds, etc; handled daily trading of stocks in accordance to local market conditions and statutory requirements.
• Principal responsibilities included supervision & structuring of proposals using the CAMEL method of analysis of local as well as foreign commercial banks & NBFIs for arrangement of credit, treasury, and trade lines. Other responsibilities included maintenance of ongoing relationships with FIs with respect to correspondent banking, commercial/corporate lending, cash management, & trade finance.
