AREA OF KNOWLEDGE:
Having the working knowledge and troubleshooting of both Addressable and Conventional fire alarm panels known (EST3, Simplex, Notifier, GST, Gent, Hochchiki, Manvier, and Esser IQ8.) and all devices and wiring. Calibration, Testing, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Repairing of Fire/life safety system, and Monitoring, inspection and Maintenance Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers, FM200, PAVA System, Emergency Light, Fire Hydrant System, Sprinkler System, Zone Control Valve, Zone flow switch, Safety Equipment, and Fire Pump Testing, Pre-Action System, Deluge System, Alarm Check Valve.
ROLES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:-
• Perform standard fire alarm installation; pull wire, terminate devices and assemble fire alarm panel.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm panel to a complete level.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm field wiring for open and shorts.
• Operation & Maintenance of fire equipment.
• Inspection of building for preventing outbreaks of fire.
• Install the fire alarm and other fire proof system.
• Respond to emergency calls and providing medical assistance.
• Submit on time, complete and accurate incident and investigation report.
• Maintaining fire readiness and carrying out fire suppression activities.
• Installing fire alarms of different brands
• Creating an ideal fire alarm position map for a particular building and presenting it to the client.
• Suggesting and fixing new fire alarms system in the buildings.
• Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.
• Giving feedback to the companies producing fire alarm systems
• Checking the amount of stock remaining in the store.
• Ordering fire alarms and related materials.
• Examining problematic fire alarms and their constituents for determining needful repairs and ensuring their proper condition to avoid delay during emergency situations.
• Attending meeting and workshops with the clients to collect necessary information.
• Making sure that the site areas are regularly supplied with the required equipment and tools
• Coordinated work team activities with other team leaders and management personnel as necessary to complete the task.
• Giving prompt and effective attention to emergency call received during and after work hours
