Reporting to the Corporate Financial Controller of the Bank maintains the general ledger and all related accounts with all banking products.
VAT end to end implementation, troubleshooting, reporting, complaince and planning.
Assist in preparation accounting schemes, procedure and policies, manuals
Reviews entries of the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company's and established accounting principles; controls all changes to chart of accounts. Assisting in the production of the monthly and year-end closing of the general ledger including preparation of journal entries.
- Assist in maintaining computerized accounting system, backup control, assisting other accounting staff with questions and printing of computer generated reports and statements.
- Assist in preparation of interim, year-end and comparative financial reports; performs and provides analysis of current results to prior periods and/or budget. Prepares required regulatory reports as directed by the Finance Manager and responds to inquiries as necessary.
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation for all Nostro accounts; and other banks internal accounts verifies accuracy of bank statements and resolve questions or problems;
