Responsible for reducing and maintaining cost in VYT SARL, the mother company of many chain restaurants: Goutons Voir (French Bistro), Nonna Pizza, Charlotte (French Bistro), Sea House (Seafood) and Café Gourmand (French and Italian).
Main responsibilities included:
- Handling data management across all outlets
- Providing ongoing maintenance and updates of software
- Preparing, modifying and implementing recipes in relevance to cost management
- Managing of inventory
- Preparing follow-up cost reports distributed to management
- Controlling price of goods
- Controlling all outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency
Responsible for creating and implementing the concept of the 400sqm supermarket including setup, brand identity and positioning.
As the General Manager, main responsibilities included:
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Overseeing pricing and stock control
- Handling purchasing and supplier relations
- Handling all accounting, audit and financial requirements
- Planning and implementing all store operations
Logistics Manager - CHIP International Doha, Qatar
Mother of many sub companies, each specialized in type of products for wholesale and implementation of security systems (locks, Cameras, Parking systems, lighting systems …) for more than 85% of hotels in Doha.
In this particular job I was responsible of setting the system and structure of the stock, warehousing, authorities, circulation and flow of work. Including:
- Choosing and implementing the ERP system
- Setting up the warehouse
- Recruiting, training and managing staff
- Inventory ( Initial + Periodic )
On a managerial level:
- Placing orders from portals and direct
- Dealing with shipping companies
- Following up on shipments

I have during this period invested some small capital in various hospitality business ventures like Bartabac in ABC, and El Paladar restaurant in Sodeco and Shakespeare Pub in Mono as well as other smaller ventures which I have sold out.
This is a wholesale and retail operation specialized in party planning and decoration and organizations as well as supply of party material to the retail market in Lebanon-Holders of excusive agencies of 2 major AMERICAN brands of balloons Anagram and Qualatex
Duties and Achievements:
• The position entailed the overall supervision and hands-on running of the operation including but not limited to the following:
- Stock control
- Staff management (10 employees)
- Inventory planning and control
- Purchasing
- Tax
- Data management and control
- Legal liaison
- International communications
The achievements were basically based on turning the business within a very short time span into a profitable and well known operation running within the tightly planned budget meeting and exceeding expectations.
5 Branches in Maameltein- Tripoli- Mkalles- Achrafieh- Antelias
This particular business was a major operator in the wholesaling of party and entertainment material and has operated successfully for a extensive period of time turning into a household name.
My position within this company has had the following attributes attached:
- Stock Control of the huge operation of around 27000 different items of stock to be kept under control.
- Network Administrator and analysis of the overall network connecting the 5 branches.
- Plan and implement work objectives and schedules for specific purchasing processes.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with Shop Managers in order to ensure that planned and actual purchasing activities meet the needs of the branches on an ongoing basis.
- Performs reconciliation between inventory, accounting and other departments. Follows up with imported goods and oversees the arrival of the shipments on a daily basis.
- Updates sales into the inventory data.
- Follows up and validates transfers between branches.
The achievements have been quite immense with major returns in a highly satisfactory position. I have had the opportunity to be on the coordination end of launching the additional branches to tumultuous success.
