• Full responsibility of field instrument corrective and preventive maintenance including all necessary tasks such as spare parts observing and purchasing.
• Following and evaluating the subcontractor performance, routine site inspection as an Inspection League member, preparing a schedule for shutdown maintenance.
• Participate in the commissioning of equipment following modification work.
• Handling and maintain data sheets for the following electrical field instruments :
- Flow transmitters and switches (D/P, Mass, Vortex, Coriolis, Turbine, Electromagnetic, Rotameter) ABB, Yokogawa & Foxborro.
- Level Transmitters, Indicators & switches (D/P, Capacitance, Radar, Gamma Ray) ABB, KROHNE & OHMART VEGA.
- Temperature transmitters and Indicators (RTD & Thermocouples).
- Pressure Transmitters and Switches (ABB & Rosemount)
- Smart Control Valves (Fisher) and Special Ball valves for UOP packages.
• Responsible of PLC and DCS Systems Monitoring and fault Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of calibration, designing, hook-up, readjusting and hard/software maintenance for DCS and PLC.
• Strong knowledge of connection between on-site systems and MCC.
• Good experience in graphics design, database, and logic function codes for DCS and PLC, and serial communication interface between DCS and other systems.
• Responsible of all Configurations required in the system \[Control Loops, Alarms, trends, Process Displays, Historian, Process Summary, Reports, Operator Action Journal\]
• Responsible of restarting the tripped equipments (ex: boilers, heaters and compressors) by detecting the cause of trip and the cause preventing the start up by using online test.
• Handle, maintain tasks and troubleshooting for :
- DCS system (Yokogawa Centum 3000-Vnet/IP) and do all necessary modifications as per operation team requirments
- ESD / FGS (HIMA Hq51RS-ELOP II)
- UOP systems (TRICONEX TRISTATION 11.31 - Siemens Moore)
- Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000
- Siemens (S7-400H).
• Teaching Electric circuits, Electronic devices and Digital logic Circuits tutorials for the three departments of the program (Petrochemicals, Electromechanical and Computer communications).
• Preparing practical labs for the students.
• Discussing final projects with students.
Student in the faculty of engineering graduated with overall grade very good ranked in the top 10% in the class.
