Have served Pakistan Army for and retired in Dec 2012 at the rank of Brigadier.
have served in Military intelligence (MI) and Inter-services Intelligence (ISI). In specific term the experience is :-
Diplomatic:
Three and half year’s assignment as counselor in a diplomatic mission. As counselor worked in the fields of bilateral relations, visa handling, trade and commerce.
Instructional:
• Three years teaching in the fields of intelligence and security to the lower grade field operatives and junior officers. (1988-1990).
• One year directing and teaching experience in the fields of intelligence and staff work at the mid-level officers (2001-2002).
Intelligence and Security:
• Three years’ experience of security, counter intelligence and counter insurgency as agent handler and managerial/ administrative appointment at junior level. (1990-1993).
• Two and half years’ experience of trans-frontier intelligence at a senior operational and management position (1998-2000).

• Five years’ experience of deputy and chief of operations for counter terrorism and trans-frontiers intelligence in an esteemed intelligence organization, i.e. Inter-Services Intelligence (2006-2012).
Human Resource Management and Staff Assignments:
• Three and half years’ experience at a senior management position in a foreign country with Ministry of Foreign affairs (2003-2006).
• Four years’ experience as staff officer at highest headquarters’ level (GHQ) in the fields of intelligence, security, research and analysis (1995-1998).
• Ten years exposure to/ and work experience of HR management, administration, corporate culture, multilateral negotiations and handling of security and intelligence outfits.
. three months experience of director security and vigilance with PIA (Pakistan international airlines)
