Responsible for financial compliance of the existing and pre-openings.
Operating the facility management operation of 377 luxury individually owned apartments and operating a Rental Programme under the Jumeirah Living brand. Having successfully achieved the formal approvals from RERA for the Service Charge budgets for the facility management component of the business. With the greatest contribution to the business in significantly improving Service Charge collections year on year together with implementing processes and procedures.
Responsible for the central accounting function of Jumeirah International. Directly report to the Group DOF with a dotted line to SVP Finance and managing a team of seven.
A collection of boutique hotels with individual charm, history and character. The biggest being 107 bedroom city centre hotel with the other four properties being all rural country retreat locations with a heavy business base of weddings. Each consisted of a single F&B outlet together with extensive C&B facilities, two out of the five also had health and leisure facilities.
I joined Prima Hotels prior to the 3rd acquisition to set up chart of accounts and best practice processes from front desk to head office reporting functions. This also included the setting up of a robust IT infrastructure for real time reporting.
I joined the Corporate Office as Finance Manager reporting to the Group Financial Controller. Closing month ends for a centralised account function for nine properties. Maintaining the group asset register and overseeing nine direct reports in a centralised accounting function.
Reported to General Manager and joined the hotel to implement strong financial controls. Supervised a team of five direct reports. Was promoted to role of Senior Financial Controller with the added responsibility of overseeing an additional hotel.
