Responsibilities:
•Dealing & Communicating with the International Buyers and Indian Vendors.
•Costing the Garments & explaining pros & cons involved with the garment.
•Organizing and developing samples as per buyer’s as well in house developments.
•Processing the orders & advising the delivery schedule to the customer.
•Issuing P/o for the fabric, trims after evaluating the Quality, Cost & Delivery details. Day to day follow up for procuring the same on time.
•Production Planning & Control - Organizing the cutting charts & deciding which style & quantity to run with which factory. Closely monitoring the different production stages to ensure the right quality & timely delivery.
•Visiting production units to various stages of production to ensure right quality is being produced. Daily follow up with the units in form of production & quality reports.
•Communicating with the buyer, advising the details of production in form reports, test reports, initial samples & production samples etc.
Process, Communication & Co-ordination
•Prepare samples as per the request of the buyer’s & in accordance with the season’s & approval from the buyer’s carry out cost analysis and adjustment to meet the buyer’s target.
•Understand Buyer’s requirements on New Developments, Sampling, Costing and Deliveries
•On acceptance of the prices, proceed with sample development and sourcing of fabric/yarn’s for Knitting. Constantly following up with the supplier’s for the fabrics/yarn’s & buyers for any changes and updating them on the same.
•Dispatching samples to the buyers and getting the necessary approvals.
•Follow up with buyer for Production order confirmation and raising necessary PO.
•On receipt of order proceed with product co-ordination of planning and placing orders for fabric/yarn’s and trims.
•Regular updated provided on Order monitoring, Delivery updates and Costing analysis
•Co-ordination with the QA team: Provide complete Inspection Material including Product packages, Lab test report, Trims and Accessory cards, Shade Lots, etc.
•Preparation of production samples in size sets thoroughly checked before starting the bulk production.
•Ensuring that the right fabric and trims have been received before the production commences.
•Looking after the production department and the products in production and reporting to the management on the productivity.

•Well understand Garment manufacturing in different manufacturing countries like India and China.
•This includes several washes, finishes, fabric treatment and value additions like embroidery, embellishments, different print technique, etc
•Ability to do costing and cost analysis complimenting the above. Excellent Coordination and communication Skill.
•Knowledge of Computerized Systems.
