Identified a niche market segment which is a total insurance solution for lower income categories through market research for new product possibilities as a part of the company’s Strategy & Planning team.
Actively took part in designing, implementing and promoting a product for the above niche market (Micro Takaful) together with the
senior management.
Achieved a total revenue of Rs.8mn within the first year of launching the product which is the highest revenue recorded in the western province and was awarded the “Best Achiever” for the year 2014-
15.
Assumed a lead role in Client & Team meetings due to strengths in presentation and negotiation skills, and helped to attract major client accounts.
Evaluate fitness needs and conduct specific training programs for national players referred by the Sri Lanka Ministry of Sports for sports such as Rugby, Football, Boxing, etc. (Part time, contract basis employment)
I work part time at Grand Fitness Kingdom apart from my full time employment at Amana Takaful PLC. I design & implement personalized exercise and diet programs according to the condition and the requirements of the clients who come to the gym. Further I carry out power lifting and body building programs for specific clients.
Providing powerlifting training for company Rugby players and conduct special training programs for Foot Ball, Basket Ball and Cricket Players of the company. Further I carry out routine physical fitness workouts for office staff and other interested employees apart from my full time duties as an Assistant Manager At Amana Takaful PLC.
I coached the National Rugby Team for Asian 7’s, Hong Kong 7’S rugby tournament and other local tournaments during my part time employment.
Handled a team of 10 insurance representatives and trained & guided them to achieve both team and individual targets while focusing on the quality of service provided.
Recorded an individual revenue of Rs. 3, 000, 000 within the first month of appointment as Team Manager by cultivating positive relationships with customers.
Team recognition for the year 2013 as the Best Team in terms of customer servicing vs. revenue generation within the group.
Expanded the client base by 60% in two years by consistently delivering goal-surpassing marketing results and ensuring complete client satisfaction.
