Position: E-learning Specialist/Sr. Instructional Designer
Responsibilities:
Content Development: Analysis, Design, Implementation and Delivery.
Conduct Training's: E-learning, Blackboard LMS and electronic material.
Deanship Strategic plan development and implementation with top management.
Design the workflow process of e-content development using ADDIE model.
Communicate with SME's to develop electronic courses.
Mange the new MOOCs portal of e-learning deanship.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare materials for different training program and placement test before training.
• Introduce TOT (train of trainers) program for academic staff.
• Assist other contractors and departments as directed by the Training Manager.
• Assists in the build and implementation of training modules as needed.
• Set up training for SME's about e-learning and how to prepare material to be electronic.
• Analysis, Design, Implementation and Delivery phases for content development.
• Provides technical support for the education classrooms as needed.
• Prepare reports about training program and evaluation.
• Acting as team leader for the instructional design team (A team of 11 instructional designers, 2 editors, 2 linguists and a scenarist)
• Identifying the requirements of any project (Technical, TNA and Standards for SME’s revision)
• Responsible for the phases of analysis, design, implementation and delivery
• Communicating with other teams (Four graphic teams, developers team and quality team)
• Meeting customers to identify their needs and requirements
• Delivering prototypes and learning objects (400 learning objects so far)
• Design the full process of any project (End-to-end process)
• Preparing the evaluation criteria for team members at the company
• Hiring new instructional designers for the company

Job Description • Designing and developing instructional material for customer training courses that support the technical products of the company.
• Demonstrating and utilizing effective needs analysis, project management, course development and evaluation skills
• Independently developing entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences
• Utilizing multimedia technology and authoring tools
• Acting as liaison between R & D and I.D. in determining needs of the course and appropriate method of delivery
• Working with subject matter experts to identify students' learning needs
• Developing objectives and ensuring that the content matches those objectives
• Revising and rewriting content to shape it for the learning needs
• Structuring content and activities for students' learning
• Creating media to support the learning process (e.g., visual aids for face-to-face interaction and various multimedia for e-learning and online learning)
• Developing assessments
• Adapting instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually from face-to-face to e-learning)
I worked for IslamOnline as a freelance e-learning specialist in the Hajj and Umrah program using Secondlife virtual world and Sloodle LMS. My job was to:
- Design the Umrah and Hajj course
- Upload the course on Sloodle LMS
- Act as an administrator for LMS and handle students issues
