• Complete project execution including handling of KOM, pre-FAT, FAT and SAT activities, site visits.
• Applicable experience in the design, construction and operation of DCS & ESD.
• Develop & maintain control SW for industrial/Oil & Gas and power plant.
• Issue and manage control system documentation.
Involved with Honeywell Egypt, Abodhabi & India in replacement of Foxboro DCS with Honeywell EPKS DCS with 12 C-300 Redundant Controller (5000 Hardwired Points and Honeywell Experion server and communication with 40 subsystems (18000 points).
Responsibility: lead Engineering & Commissioning team which consists of 3 Engineer and 5 Technician.
Engineering Phase
o Extracting the Design Inputs from the exiting Foxboro System.
o I/O Communication database development.
o Implementation of the (18000 points) Modbus communication with DCS in the
quick builder Database in Honeywell Experion DCS.
o Replacement of the existing 64 Temperature Multiplexer with new P&F
Remote IO. and Implement the Communication with Honeywell DCS.
o Existing Cable Trench layout / Equipment layout Modification in main central
Control Room and 8 satellite.
o Existing Fiber optics Cabinets Termination Detail modification 8 satellite.
o Temperature Multiplexer Remote IO Junction Box termination Detail
Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
o SCADA Modbus online/offline simulation testing with all packages
o Pepurl and Fuchs Remote IO online testing with Honeywell DCS.
o Hardware Loop Check
o Experion Server Performance testing.
o C300 Controller DCS testing (I/O Module, Redundancy Check).
o Network loading test by testing all the package at the same time
.
Pre Commissioning, Commissioning and Startup Phase (Phase 1)
o First shut down is for 2 Auxialary control Rooms and the main control roomfor 7 days.
o Laying the power cables from the power distribution board to the control and network cabinets.
o Laying the network cables and fiber optic cables between the new cabinets and the existing packages.
o System power up
o Establishing the Communication with DCS, 5 HIMA Systems, 2 SIMENS PLC, 2 MMS, 2 Modicon PLC, 20 Remote IO Temperature Multiplexer.
o 100 % Modbus Comunication online testing with all packages in the two auxiliary Control Rooms and main control room.
• Preparation of technical proposals;
• Handling of detailed design, commissioning and installation;
• Complete project execution including handling of KOM, pre-FAT, FAT and SAT activities, site visits.
