Turbo-Machinery Section head at PHPC- Pharaonic Petroleum Company- is a joint venture company established in Egypt between E.G.P.C., B.P. and I.E.O.C. P.h.P.C. currently operates three natural gas production fields located offshore the Egyptian sector of the Mediterranean Sea. (2013- Now)
My responsibilities are as follows:
1.Execute preventive maintenance planning and job procedures of rotating equipment.
2.Applying and execute computer maintenance material management program of rotating equipment.
3.Following up all the necessary procedures related to work permits collecting all necessary information of rotating machinery which machine components and design as manufacturer recommendations.
4.Applying preventive maintenance (Daily, weekly, monthly, 6 monthly, yearly) and predictive maintenance (condition monitoring) of rotating machines to decrease corrective maintenance, and create new job procedures according to machine history.
5.Making daily, weekly ….etc reports.
6.Conducting onsite troubleshooting and rectification activities, such as in-depth problem analysis, and provide solutions.
7.Establishing machine history records for each machine and using these records to evaluate machine health and running quality.
8.Following up repair items during repair jobs, and prepare spare parts available at wear house.
9.Make technical specification with complete evaluation for all spare parts and tools.
10.Reporting of failure analysis for rotating equipment.
11.Follow up manufacturing spare parts at work shop; make dimension test, and material selection.
12.Selection of lubrication type or equivalent for rotating equipment to apply preventive maintenance as manufacture recommendations.
13.Planning of maintenance activities and time scheduling.
14.Execute corrective maintenance activities of rotating equipment.
15.Managing maintenance team to perform maintenance activities.
16.Follow up continuous monitoring systems (on line systems) including vibration, temperature …etc.
17.Perform and supervise all mechanical maintenance work for:
Pumps manufactured by companies like EBARA, Milton Roy, pompe gabbioneta.
Mechanical seals from JOHN CRANE, flowserve.
Air compressors made by ATLAS COPCO, INGERSOLL-RAND.
Compressors made by IHI, HITACHI, Nuovo Pignone, Man Turbo.
Gas turbines made by GENERAL ELECTRIC, HITACHI, SOLAR.
Diesel engines made by WAUKESHA, CATERPILLAR, CUMMINS, and so many other's. mechanical equipment manufacturers such as air fan coolers towers, heat exchangers, valves and piping
Responsible of all maintenance activities and planning for all maintenance strategies related to turbo-machinery and rotating equipments.
Evaluate machines conditions and insure the reliability of the site rotating equipments.
Manage the required spare parts, tools and manpower needed to perform maintenance work.
Insure that safety and engineering international standards applied.
Establish and manage machines health history and supervise real time machine health monitoring
Supervise a rotating equipments maintenance team to perform maintenance activities according to safety and engineering standards
Manage spare parts required by the maintenance team and evaluate the machines health conditions
Planning for the maintenance strategies and insure the machines reliability.
Improvements of the maintenance team engineering knowledge and obtain training plan for the maintenance team participants.
Rotating equipment maintenance engineer in SEGAS-LNG plant (union fenosa-Damietta plant-5.4 million cubic meter /year of LNG) . (2004-2013).
Carryout all types of maintenance tasks (PM, CM, PD, ..) according to international work and safety standards.
monitor equipment health and operational condition.
Reporting and evaluate machines health.
Improve working crew knowledge and enhance their ability to perform the required work safely and according to standards.
