Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal demands.
Assist technical and planning team to link Inv. parts with CMMS module and in developing Maintenance cycle.
Supervise and plan for periodical rolling stock checks of random bin/aisle locations.
Maintain the store in a tidy useable state providing an efficient and safe working area consider 5Ss applying and high security levels.
Coordinate expediting for long term projects/work consider inventory value decreasing
Creates/release PRs (purchase requisitions) for the PL part lines and NPL for Engineering.
Communicate delays or estimated delivery time when requested.
Carry out audits of stores. Produce related audit reports, evaluate findings and evaluate improvements to be implemented into the maintenance management system.
Analyses supply performance measures and identify improvement opportunities.
Assist on planning for stores AOP related to annual forecast.
Provides Stores KPIs and report on time.
Follow up warehouse assists / equipment’s certificates validation and plan for periodical safety check to ensure readiness 24/7.
Follow up lifting and lashing spare parts attached with related certificates once deliver, create related SOPs and to be marked on warehouse ERP for right receiving / issuing
Ensure that APMT Health, Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures are observed as well as all relevant safety legislation and the provisions of the relevant governmental Health, Safety and Environmental Acts.
Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. includes providing suggestions and input to changes and improvements in all policies and procedures (mentioned in this section or otherwise).
Supervise, Monitor, train and appraise store staff, to ensure Company expectations are met and that the required follow-up actions are taken.
-Participates in identification of suppliers by conducting market research.
-Investigates alternative vendors and finds new sources of supply.
-Negotiate contracts including payment terms, conditions, etc.
-Determines method of supplier selection such as direct purchase or bid.
-Reviews and analyses bids submitted by vendors based on agreed criteria.
-Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine source of problem and takes corrective action.
-Prepare reports related to supplier performance on price, quality, on-time delivery and service. Follows up with vendors if needed based on user feedback.
Check queries and request clarifications or any concerns regarding received purchase requests data, description, units, quantities and specifications.
Request and negotiate best price quotations, ensuring best quality for all received orders and forward same for approval, while ensuring the best delivery schedule.
Establishing and managing contracts with suppliers.
•Maintaining a suitable and diverse pool of suppliers.
-Management of all Tramway stock items in the Warehouse.
-Perform Inventory control to ensure optimal Inventory levels in order to meet internal demands.
-Actively drive and promote standard way of working within Asset Maintenance.
