Worked as a process engineer for the commissioning of High Temperature Direct Chlorination (HTDC) with below

 Developed and assessed a cost-effective centrifugal pump system to improve condensate recovery efficiency.
 Developed a comprehensive pressure testing package of HTDC.
 Executed modifications in Distributed Control System (DCS) logic to facilitate the integration of HTDC with the
current plant.
 Conducted HTDC Emergency Shutdown (ESD) testing on the Triconex ESD system.

 Provided technical assessments pertaining to diverse equipment to be procured in accordance with the plant's

Worked as a process engineer for the commissioning of Vacuum Distillation Unit of Frontier Refinery Iraq (8500 bbls) with
below responsibilities:
 Developed a comprehensive pressure testing package of Vacuum Distillation Unit.
 Prepared standard operating procedures for Vacuum Distillation unit as per the renowned operating refineries.
 Developed single-page process flow diagrams (PFDs) for various units, resulting in improved clarity and
communication of complex process systems.

Worked as a Senior Officer for Gasoline Block including Hydrotreater, Platformer, PENEX, MOLEX Unit with below
responsibilities:
 Provide day to day technical support to operations team as required.
 Provide process engineering expertise to Operation department require answering of technical inquiries, provide
technical recommendations, provide process troubleshooting, and develop process procedures.
 Prepare Units KPI factsheet to indicate the operation constraint and performance.
 Responsible for leading all Emergency modifications (MOC’s) of these units.
 Prepare Simulation Models of running units with each Feed Diet change and provide operating parameters to
Operations.
 Coordinate and participate in critical activities within the refinery i.e. HDT and Platformer Catalyst replacement/
skimming/ regeneration/ chemical cleaning and issue procedure for the same.
 Lead Process optimization studies based on expansion, upgrade and de-bottlenecking.
 Monitor Refinery Own Use and Losses & Operating cost on a monthly basis, compare it with Benchmark and
provide recommendations for improvement.
 Plan Unit test runs and perform evaluation for new and existing installations of Refinery and ensure that correct
engineering actions for possible design errors are implemented.
 Participate in Management of Change EHS Committees as Technical expert to provide modification basis and
process engineering expertise to engineering department to develop safer and improve design.
 Develop and updated the Cause and Effect document of these units.
 Lead Unit internal and external What-if, PSSR, HAZOP studies from process side.
 Participate in unit’s incident root cause analysis and investigations
 Workout with Catalyst suppliers, vendors and contractors for process improvement.
 Lead the plant turnaround/shutdown to ensure minimum disruption in production and timely completion of activities.
