Responsibilities
• Price negotiation with suppliers without compromising desired quality standards and ensure timely delivery of material.
• Sourcing the building materials, machineries / equipments, tools and spares in line with the technical specifications provided by the technical and logistic department and generating enquiries.
• Tracing of pending LPOs and maintain vendors updated data sheet.
• Assessment of Vendor application and recommending for approval in line with company policy.
• Selection of machineries / equipments, tools and spares in close co-ordination with Technical/Engineering/Logistic Managers and negotiation before under placement and negotiation with the suppliers.
• Assisting the Procurement Manager in material planning and control.
• Involved in preparation of Purchase Orders and other reports.
• To ensure that always the inventory is maintained at the desired level.
