- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
- Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Develop unit tests and work with Quality Control members on solving the defects.
- Investigate new technologies and update technical knowledge and skills.
- Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
- Construct design documents and documentation to aid maintenance and code reuse.
- Application support and 24/7 on-call support
- Generate reports for statistical and decision making purposes.
- Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
- Mentor and supervise junior Developers/Product Support Engineers.
- Assist in the design and architecture of complex solutions.
- Analyze and suggest improvements in the overall development process.
On-site support. Main responsibilities:
- Support SharePoint 2013 internet application and related web services.
- Support mobile applications.
- Enhancing applications features and usability.
- Handling post production and delivery issues and change requests.
- Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.
- Support the servers and configurations related to the applications.
- Collaborate in infrastructure activities.
