• Distribution as a structure combining the Logistics and Materials Management was introduced to SLB to increase efficiency of the process (end-to-end delivery for internal customer)
• Responsible for Logistics and Material Management for two GeoMarkets (AZE and GEO)
• Managing the team of 26 people with 2 managers (Logistics & materials)

• Planning and managing the mobilization of 3 EPF projects with more than 15M tones of oversize shipments with more than $10M of duties & port fees avoidance
• Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs

• Crew mobilization from and to Kuwait (achieved the biggest mobilization even in WesternGeco, 6000 employee crew with full equipment)
• Insure safe mobilization of dangerous goods, radioactive shipments, dual usage shipments…)
• Managing the customs clearance suppliers
• Manage and maintain the company properties 120k m2 of bases
• Build new bases and insure the proper usage of the existing bases
• Managing the maintenance and cleaning and construction teams
• Control the facilities spends vise the revenue
• Ensuring accurate and timely reception and distribution of all new purchases /equipment by daily planning of transfers for product shipments
• Managing reception and distribution of all used equipment and machineries returning from the land crews for refurbishment and redistribute them accordingly
• Planning, implementing and controlling receipt and storage of all logistics from warehouse and from suppliers ensuring timely service delivery and smooth operations
• Interfacing with suppliers for material delivery while tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery targeting cost reduction, freight savings, service and contractual requirements
• Devising effective strategies for reorganising logistics team and distributing new roles and responsibilities with a cost saving target of $1.2M per year
• Ensuring compliance with all environmental, safety, and hazardous waste regulations Achievements
• Successfully starting WJO project in Kuwait with over 200 trailers (flat beds, low bed, car carriers)
• Achieving savings of $4.6M as duty avoidance with the success of the WJO mobilisation
• Collect and analyze information with respect to assigned projects internal or external to company framework
• Analyze consumer opinions and collect data from a variety of sources to enable clients to make informed decisions.
• Collected and analyzed data about Qatar and GCC macro, real estate, retail, shopping malls, sports, hotels. based on primary sources (direct interviews) in relation to project related feasibility study
• Participated in new products planning, market scan, and survey coordination with respect to banking sector
• Participated in a feasibility study concerning green power in Qatar and GCC market its cost and benefits
• Participated in a feasibility study for the tire recycling industry
• Participated in the macroeconomic study and pest analysis as related to the car industry in Kuwait
• Participated in drafting the feasibility study for a health care center in Qatar
• Building strong relation with the stock exchanges to assure proper and fast sourcing of Press releases, financial reports and new listed company prospectus.
• Covering all the GCC countries in addition to Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Tunisia and Ivory Coast.
• Ensuring the prompt servicing and closing of clients queries and requests
• Administering the data storage and organization in the Reuters databases and systems
• Project owner: Building historical reports back to 1997 (report time limit Jan 2009 done in June 2008).
• Training the clients and working their lay out posting on Bayt.com website.
