I have Done Many Project As Project Manager / Operation Manager, One Of these projects was in UAE University to build up a fiber connections between 30 buildings, Data Center, Access Control and UTP Cat6 cabling and switching.
Operationally in-charge for all Network activities for Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Northern Emirates region - Major duties involved: -
Manage the size, sourcing, installation and on going support of hardware and software resources required at business locations.
• Suggest strategic technology directions to business in implementing the corporate standard hardware, software platforms and applications.
• Monitoring, Scheming and infrastructure designing and implementation of new WAN and LAN links.
• Implementing a proper security systems for the network and Email servers by using powerful firewalls and antivirus software.
• Providing Technical Support.
• Maintenance of application and data servers as well as desktop computers.
• Exchange server ( E-mail System ) installation & configuration
• Trouble shooting and disaster recovery planning of servers.
• Studying the end user ‘requirements. (More than 120 computer users working at head office, plus more than 200 users around UAE).
• Managing directory services. Configuring user profiles rights and policies.
System Administration
• Guide & Administrate IT network team and systems for all of the company branches and subsidiary companies.
• Maintain smooth functioning and support systems used by the business units of the company.
• Ensure users receive support in-line with IT service standards for all system activity.
• Ensure security & normal IT infrastructure is maintained and administered efficiently.
• Ensure all changes to any system are probably managed and recorded.
• Ensure the network and inter-network is maintained and provides adequate response times.
• Carry out routine operational tasks.
• Ensure system updates, backups, etc…
• Ensure system availability.
