Scope of the position:
My primary role is to lead the project management office in the Marketing Communications Department. I’m accountable for establishing the department’s approach to the full life cycle of projects it undertakes - from project initiation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, control and completion. Insuring that the PMO meets the performance targets that are aligned with the department’s strategic objectives and that projects adhere to best practices.
Areas of responsibility:
• To align all department projects and initiatives with the overall department strategy
• To play an executive role in the planning and prioritizing of projects based on strategic objectives, cost/benefit considerations, timing, and capacity.
• To establish and ensure appropriate department project, program, and portfolio governance

• Worked on major national satellite projects as a software developer.
• Participated as a system analyst in the development ground station software for remote sensing satellites (using C# and java J2EE)
• Analyzed and optimized a communication satellite's ground station software
(using Visual Basic 6)
• Designed and developed a knowledgebase system (using ASP.NET/C#)
• Participated in the analysis phase of an Oracle ERP implementation project at
KACST.
• Installed and implemented the internal portal for NSTP (using MS Sharepoint

launching, and commissioning missions based on NASA competency dictionary.

• Designed and developed websites for various companies like Gulf buildings, Alhuwaishil
Group, Alwabel Group, Alhabib Trading Group, Jeddah Race Way, Khalid Hafiz, Badir
Advance Manufacturing Incubators, Agrisols, and others.
