 Liaise with various Government institutions regarding registration of new products and product declaration.  Assist in obtaining export and other certificates.  Supervise the collection of raw milk and matter related to farm quality.  Checking and translation of declarations for existing products and check with standard specifications that these are as per Ministry guidelines. Visit Authorities for follow-up and confirmation when instructed.  Assist development department in ensuring that new products are developed within the guidelines of the Authorities. Visit Ministries for follow-up and confirmation when instructed.  Assist purchasing department in translation of labels for imported raw materials.  Arrange and when necessary deliver routine sample of all finished product to Municipality for testing.  Assist in arranging samples to Municipality in order to obtain export certificates in a timely manner.  Ensure Suppliers are being visited and inspected as per approved schedule. conduct inspections of the facilities and advice in matters pertaining to hygienic standards of milking areas, milking equipment, pipes, tanks, etc as well as general and personnel hygiene.  Ensure that record of same is kept up to date. Ensure that all necessary information’s regarding test results and findings from inspections are forwarded to the farmers in a timely manner.

-Raw & Packaging material inspection
-Suggest & assist in improvement of quality of existing DDF products.
-New products’ trials documentation, follow-up & results’ reporting.
-Conducted periodic comparative studies between DDF & competitors’ products.
-Conduct troubleshooting investigations about internal and External Products non-conformances
-Preparing & updating product standard recipes & product formulation sheets.
-Preparing & updating Internal standard specifications for products,
-Updating laboratory work instructions in the Lab. Method Manual as required.
-Handling of Customer complaints and consequent investigations
-Prepare annual budget for Q.C laboratory equipments
- Organize listing, verification & calibration activities of all measurement devices in processing and filling (Thermometers, weighing scales, conductivity meters).
- Cheking new Packaging material design & text to meet local requirements & company standards.

Preparing & updating product standard recipes & product formulation.
Conduct new products’ trials & testing products beside trials of new packaging materials to ensure the success criteria and specification of packaging Material and final product are met.
Keep tracking of QC operating expenditures to ensure that the annual budget and quality annual operating plans are met and hence business objectives are achieved.
Updating laboratory work instructions in the Lab. Method Manual with the in-coming new analysis procedures as required.
Performing All Chemical and Microbiological tests for the dairy products (Milk, Yoghurt, Cream, Mish) and all the raw materials used in the plant (Incoming water, Raw milk, Milk powder, Fruit preparations, Starter cultures, Stabilizers, etc) and the packaging materials inspection.
Maintaining lab. Records for all process details, generating detailed reports for arising processing problems including suggestions for troubleshooting & problem solving.
Perform the calibration & verification duties for the measuring devices used in the plant (Thermometers, weighing scales, etc) and keeping records of the testing.
Performing the ISO internal audits as scheduled.
Preparation of all required laboratory testing solutions.
Perform investigations for customer consumer quality related complaints, and assist in defining the proper corrective actions..
