Provide technical advice and support to the partners and facilitate their capacity development processes using creative approaches such as PDIA, HLS and Kaizen.
Develop various communication visual materials such as factsheets, presentations, online flipbooks, slideshows and videos.
Analyze past experiences to systematize and incorporate lessons learned into the planning process, and set project targets, and required resources.
Adjusts project targets, strategies, resources and delegation of responsibilities to ensure appropriate progress toward project objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for integrating the formal and informal solid waste management sectors
Supervise project teams, freelance researchers, and consultants to guarantee the punctual and high-quality completion of deliverables.
Develop TORs and all related documents (technical assessment, assessment grid for eligibility, tender cost estimation, and contract request) that needed for tenders
Support the project partner institution for preparing, implementing, and documenting training events, workshops, forums, team meetings, and other project activities while ensuring that communications and visibility guidelines are followed.
Participate in formulating/updating project action plans and help in synchronizing the planning and budgeting system.
Review amended partners grant agreements, proposals, budgets, and logframe, to ensure its in line with the description of the action (DoA) and provide constructive feedback
Maintain the proposal database with accurate and complete information, using an online platform and filing proposal-related documents, including communication with donors, revisions, and agreements.
Develop social safeguards policy/strategy to secure informal workers’ livelihoods and health conditions to be shared with related parties working to improve the sector.
Develop a five-year national awareness-raising campaign concept on SWM.
Monitor the daily progress of project activities in the project areas: Mafraq, Madaba, Irbid.
Coordinate the sub-grant activities and agreements and ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures
Coordinate and follow up activities related to setting up social safeguard approaches for targeted infrastructure sites.
Support cooperation, regular contact, and dialogue with partners assist with PR work and cooperate with local communities, relevant organizations, non-governmental agencies, and individuals in the project environment and with other projects to improve and maintain good working relationships
Organize the implementation process of all set targets planned for each project with respective supervisors, experts and other concerned staff working within program departments.
Prepare procurement plans and monitor procurement processes
Prepare various project narrative reports including monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Operate with integrity and assurance of confidentiality, commitment to excellence, and compliance with all GIZ rules, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Conduct regular data collection through implementing partners and ensure the quality of the data by random verifications and validations
Share evidence-based recommendations that contribute to the overall program adaptation.
Participate in the development of technical training packages including training needs assessment, training plan, training materials and evaluation tools to be used for an e-learning platform
Communicate and liaise regularly with all relevant stakeholders, and contributes to establishing good relations with them
Work closely with partners and program staff to develop capacity strengthening plans for partners in Zarqa, Mafraq, and Sahab.
Assess skills gaps, information, and training needs utilizing HI performance evaluation tools to collaboratively develop and implement the professional development plan of the internet and the implementing partners.
Provide training, guidance, coaching and support to the interns to effectively perform their duties and promote a strong team spirit
Providing professional coordination to the implementing partners and liaising with important governmental, institutional, and local stakeholders, including civil society and the private sector
Organize awareness and information sessions for local stakeholders about inclusive employment and referral mechanisms set up within the scope of the project
Coordinate assistance to persons with disability including business and vocational training, work-based learning, in-kind grants, and linkages to existing business owners, employers, and mentors.
Liaise with logistics and finance department as per the procedures in place to coordinate the purchases and expenditures as required for activities implementation (follow-up procurement and administrative works; and management of petty cash)
Provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups, including partner institutions (public, private, and implementing partners)
Monitor the implementation of activities and the expenditure of funds by partners, including by conducting regular monitoring visits.
Along with the team leaders and project staff, coordinate the development of the Project’s annual work plan with high-quality standards, following donor agreements and regulations.
Developing growth strategies project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Facilitate productive relationships with cooperatives, CBOs, and other local civil society institutions in Zarqa and Amman.
Mentor and coach personnel as well as help team members develop their skills.
Contribute to design and curriculum revisions.
Organize regular lessons learned analysis with the project team for adjusting the tools and methodologies
Prepare weekly progress reports on all ongoing activities, with a focus on the achieved goals
Maintain and develop mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the impact of the running projects, and ensure learning is integrated into future project design
Develop and organize activities with team leaders and the Project Operations Manager to secure internal resources for the program and work with stakeholders to provide adequate documentation and support.
Work with the Project team to keep an updated compliance tracker, risk register and issues log
Work with project partners to ensure high-quality programmatic reporting requirements are provided on time.
• Share feedback of beneficiaries Livelihood needs, skills, and suggestions for services with the Private Sector Engagement Officer and Livelihood Coordination terms of employment and economic development.
• Develop training plan, and training materials and deliver training for youth with the following titles (Life Skills/Emotional Intelligence/Work ethics/Business Planning and Entrepreneurship/Team Building/Creative problem-solving/Presentation skills) and in the areas of expertise and organize all capacity building sessions planned under the project.
• Contribute to and manage the production of program deliverables including reports, technical products, training materials, handbooks, templates, and guides, including content development, formatting, and proofreading
• Provide guidance and career counselling individual sessions for the project beneficiaries.
• Map the different livelihoods and protection service providers in the program implementation locations in close coordination with the project team. Recommend types of business for the participants based on the market assessment findings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, community representatives, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure strong and effective working relationships and program sustainability to maximize the financial and technical resources of the project.
• Follow up and monitor the technical training /internship provided by the private sector partners in line with the identified internship criteria.
• Presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner and using visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
• Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Participating in arrangements within an agreed national framework for the appraisal of students performance
• Providing guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers; providing information on sources of more expert advice
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of ones students.
• Develop and identify training content with supporting reference resources such as presentations, practical exercises, and handouts to facilitate learning utilizing attunement principles in dealing with profound stress.
• Conduct pre-training, in-training, and post-training evaluations for feedback address challenges to effective learning, document and share lessons learned.
• Engage in basic project monitoring activities and participate in joint planning in supporting community initiatives and solutions.
• Provision of mental health education and awareness sessions to reduce community stigma of mental illness within communities.
• Provide group and individual psycho-social support sessions.
• Educate beneficiaries about stress, anxiety, depression, trauma-related mental health issues, etc., at the clinic/waiting room or in support groups in the community.
• Document all necessary feedback and provide regular progress monitoring reports to the project coordinator.
