To provide advanced, critical LAN/WAN support for India/U.S locations. Responsible for maintaining healthy operations of computer network, commercial software and proprietary systems in support of 400 employees. Duties include coordinating with vendors to resolve application, system and network issues.
• In time Network Monitoring to make sure the offshore and onsite networks are alive 24/7
• Testing the network for weakness by using different tools like ethereal or wire shark in order to block the unwanted data traffic through dedicated network
• Keeping an eye out for needed updates for the regularly using software’s/Tools y the offshore employees
• Installing and implementing security programs in order to avoid installation or usage of unwanted tools/ software’s in the systems
• In many cases, E-mail and Internet filters need to be applied to avoid misuse of the resources and for data security
• Evaluating implementing network management software.
