Leading and managing a supervision consultant team during the execution of the fit-out works at one of the prestigious towers in King Abdullah Financial District.
The project is one of a kind since it is the first LEED Gold Office construction project in the Gulf and middle east area.
The project is the first phase of the Diriyah Gate Development Program, and it consists of bulk excavation as a preparation for future tunnels, basements and buildings construction in Diriyah Gate. The scope of work included demolition of existing structures and roads, utilities diversion, construction of a perimeter fence and hoarding in order to secure the construction site.
Construction of 2 Elevated Stations in Riyadh, line #2 . Launching and following up all construction activities including excavation, concrete works, precast concrete works, post tensioning works, steel structure works and finishing works. Preparing weekly execution plans and making sure to follow them in an efficient way.
l Managed the construction of a 1.5 Km Tunnel project, coordinated the different construction tasks including mechanical, electrical and civil tasks, implemented
construction phasing and planned activities on weekly and monthly basis, ensured that works are complying with the client's requirements, specifications, time schedule and
company's quality policy, taking into consideration optimal use of manpower, equipments and material.
l conducted weekly internal meetings, and attended the weekly progress meetings with the client.
l reviewed plans and specs during the schematic design of pre-construction.
The project consists of the construction of a "Cut and Fill Tunnel", where phase 1 is utilities diversion (Telecom, storm water box culvert, sewage line, 800 mm potable water line), phase 2 is "Excavation then concreting of the Tunnel structural elements", phase 3 is "Road works, Pumping station construction, Storm water system installation, irrigation and electrical network installation, hardscape and landscape works" in the main road, phase 4 is "demolition and reinstatement of the services roads including installation of a new utilities network, asphalting works, and construction of new walkways.
I planned and followed up the daily site activities.
l Scheduled all contractors and materials deliveries.
l Reported the quality of performance on site to all site construction managers.
l Assisted the project director in many invoicing and re-measurement audits .
Leading a civil and structural team during the consruction of the new road network below the Riyadh airbase .The scope of work included the following : Formwork systems assembly and erection, steel reinforcement manufacturing and erection, post-tensioned concrete 12 m retaining walls, Road works, utilities, hardscape and landscape works
Structural design of Towers, villas and residential buildings.
Preparation of structural shop drawings .
