• Designed/Developed & Implemented the following POS system for nearly 140 stores o QSR POS (Quick Service Restaurants) with Kitchen Display System o Dine-In POS with Kitchen Printing Sub System o Fine Dine-In with Kitchen Printing and with Integrated Table Reservation Module o Retail POS - POS for Retail Operations using Barcode Scanner
• Designed/Developed Call Center Application (COT) with the deep integration to POS/BOS Module. The Call center is one of the biggest in the country having more than 75 agents and 6 supervisors
• Designed/Developed the Enterprise Back office (EBOS) Module for the POS. This module is used for data consolidation, integration with GL/AP, Supply Chain, Budgets
• Developed automated services to support EBOS. These services include Auto Upload/Download to FTP Server, Automated Alert trigger systems for Stock Level, Staff Meals, and Employee Attendance Etc.
• Designed and developed and implemented integrated Warehouse/Purchasing Solution for multi site warehouse

Role: Overall responsibility of the development team responsible for Module/Program design, Schema design, Coding, Testing, training and implementation of the software modules.

Achievements

Customized Software for Cooperative Societies in Kuwait (COPACK) COPACK is a complete integrated, customized application for co-operative societies. The system has five business Modules, Inventory/PO: Complete Inventory control system, which gives user complete control over the stock, order quantity and stock level maintenance. The LPO are auto generated if the stock levels falls below minimum quantity and it is linked to Receipt Voucher. Accounts Payable: Takes care supplier accounts; it also has a unique feature of creating payment records for the supplier if the supplier balance is due for a period. Bank Reconciliation: This takes care of the Supplier Cheques, Its Status and reconciles with bank statement Daily Cash: This module handles the daily cash. It also keeps track of accumulative of each POS machines and records are posted to GL. General Ledger: Includes Voucher entry, Budgeting, Accrual GL Entries I was involved in complete migration of the system from RM-COBOL to VB 6.0 (32 bit), Complete Database Design & Coding.
