Manage all Health, Safety and Environmental Applications for the infrastructure projects in
Education City (12 projects).
Ensure that the company and Contractors complies with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015
and ISO 45001:2018.
Lead Interface coordination with all stakeholders, relevant 3rd party contractors and governmental agencies.

Key Project:
- Education City Tram. Prepare all required documentation and system requirements to
comply with, and get legal approval to operate from Ministry of Transport. Set up the HSE
Management system for the Testing/Commissioning stage as well as for Operations.

Overseeing all Projects across my region both On-shore and Offshore.
- Managing the HSE Business Unit for the Location (Processes, KPI’s, R/A, Statistics etc.).
- Conduct internal Surveillance Audits to verify locations’ compliance to Global policies and procedures.
- Conduct Audits on different projects to ensure compliance to Company policies and procedures and OHSAS 18001.
- Prepare Bid and Tender documents and allocating budget to my Discipline
- Preparation of Man-hours calculations for Projects during both Execution stage and bid/tender stage.
- Reducing overhead costs and costs associated with my Business Unit throughout the Region I managed (Middle East North Africa)
- Achieved ZERO LTI during my term

 Manage all HSE applications for the 1 kilometer Viaduct Bridge and a 750m Underground
Tunnel.
 Ensure that the company and Contractors complies with OHSAS 18001, Qatar Foundation
requirements and Qatar Legislation (QCS 2010/4).
 Advise and Assist the Site Manager and Project Director on how to effectively set up, implement and improve the HSE Management System.
 Manage a team of Contractor HSE Managers and Officers (21 people).
 Compiling of HSE Procedures and ensuring implementation.
 Preparing and Setting up of Environmental Impact Assessments (Noise and Vibration) for
the project.
 Conduct daily Site visits and report findings to Top Management and Client.
 Perform Interfacing with various other Contractors as well as Official visits (Labor department).

 Manage the Health, Safety and Environmental process for the project.
 Ensure that the company complies with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2007, OHSAS 18001,
and Saudi Royal Commission standards.
 Conduct surveillance audits on contractors and internally in the Client PMC.
 Advise the Site Manager (Siemens) and Project Director (SEPCOIII) on how to effectively
set up and implement the HSE Management System.
 Manage a team of HSE Coordinators/Officers (26 people).
 Ensuring the Safety of all personnel on the project (25100+ people)
 Compiling of HSE Procedures and ensuring implementation.
 Conduct daily Site visits and report findings to Top Management.
 Lead the Permit To Work team and SIMOPS coordination.
 Conduct on-site Coaching, and training of subcontractors.

Gathering Manifolds, Constructing the Central Processing Facility and Export Pipelines
(+400km)
 Supervise all sub-contractors on-site (9800people) and 200+ HSE personnel.
 Ensure Safety Management System is implemented, and maintained
(OSHAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
 Conduct internal Audits on Safety performance.
 Ensure legal requirements are complied with.
 Directly in-charge of all scaffolding on-site, erection, modification, dismantling and
plans/drawings etc.
 In charge of the Permit to Work system, including conducting training.
 In charge of SIMOPS management.
 Conduct daily site inspections, and daily reporting to Top Management.
 Coordinate all Commissioning activities, including Permit to work procedure, schedule, SIMOPS, checking availability of resources.
 Compile Risk assessments/JSA work method statements etc.

 Do weekly, monthly and yearly audits (Health and Safety, and Environmental).
 Ensure company complies with legislation and requirements of the OHS Act.
 Ensure that production requirements are met.
 Oversee all of the production lines, ensuring that enough resources are available for the
daily tasks to be completed successfully.
 Function as the HR Manager, ensuring employees get relevant training. Doing appointments, inductions, pay sheets.
 Look after the health and wellness of all employees.
 Ensure that all employees are working in a safe environment, wearing correct PPE/C.
 Carry out daily spot checks, toolbox talks, monthly audits and yearly audits.
 Carry out risk assessments.
 Manage “Near misses” and draw up statistics for Top Management.
 Implement training Matrix for employees, arrange training in accordance with requirements.
