• Brief description of hospital - Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital, Inc. is a tertiary 300 bed capacity private hospital. It is an ISO accredited institution in the city having in-patient and out-patient care services with wide range of specialties including internal medicine, endoscopy, dialysis, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal care, and physical rehabilitation.
• Description of unit/ward - Third floor department has 27 bed capacities. It comprises of OB-Gyne, Medical and Surgical cases. Patient and nurse ratio minimum of 6:1
• Your duties/responsibilities :
1. Assesses the individual’s needs for nursing care based on the patient’s history, results of physical diagnostic and laboratory exam.
2. Plans and prioritizes nursing care activities considering all health needs of the patient, extent of his coping abilities including that of his family and significant others and his readiness, acceptance abilities for self care.
3. Executes written, legal prescriptions for treatment, medications including intravenous injections according to protocol established.
4. Coordinates patient care services with members of the health team.
