1. Provides nursing care to students; assessed and implemented first aid measures for students for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured student.
2. Counsels with students concerning problems such as safe-sex education, pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases and substance abuse in order to facilitate responsible decision-making practices.
3. Prepares and maintains student clinic records and prepared required reports.
4. Completes the preliminary nursing assessments and assisted the physician with the child study physical examinations for students.
5. Provides health education and anticipatory counseling.
