Hired to retool AED 4.3 B Shari’ a compliant Multi Asset Class Mudaraba Fund
• Restructured the Fund to reduce real estate holdings and transform developments into income generating assets. Negotiated recapitalization of the company with the Board of Directors.
• Set the asset allocation strategy to transform the fund into capital preservation mode.
• Incorporated profitable sukuks and alternatives investments to increase the funds return and reduce volatility, generating AED 250 MM of capital gains to offset existing real estate revenue drag.
