Key responsibility Business Results and P&L
Responsible for maximizing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain functions for UTC including procurement, logistics, warehousing, order management.
Reporting to the CEO APAC and Senior Vice-president Supply Chain (ARC Board of Directors).

Lead the strategic development and implementation of the supply chain strategy globally and be accountable for the financial, service and quality matrix within the supply chain for production planning, forecasting, inventory management, sourcing, logistics and customer service.
Lead, direct, manage and develop employees to ensure a highly motivated team and a high performance culture.
Develop and implement an appropriate end to end supply chain strategy. World class supply chain
Across Asia Pacific (China, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia).
Develop capability and supply chain initiatives to support supply chain performance over a multi-year horizon.
Lead and advise on senior management routines to monitor core supply chain performance including delivering against product and service level agreements and cost objectives.
Achieve cost out initiatives and ensure appropriate supplier relationships are identified and/or maintained. Develops, with manufacturing colleagues, capacity management & capacity balancing plans that not only support service and inventory levels but also supports the optimization of manufacturing cost and total cost to serve.
Identify and develop best practice supply chain processes and infrastructure to support the supply chain strategy.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external customers / suppliers.
Develop and execute business planning activities that support the growth strategy of ARC Group.
Oversee the capital and operational budgets for the supply chain function.
Lafarge operates a Gypsum mine in the Northern Cape and two international class manufacturing facilities in the south-east of Johannesburg; a plasterboard manufacturing facility factory which manufactures steel ceiling grids, metal studs, aluminum profiles for partitioning frames, associated accessories and access flooring. Manage entire supply chain operations for 2 Manufacturing Plants : Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics (import/export), Warehousing, Distribution. Direct reports 5, total staff complement 115. Achievements : Reduced raw material and finish goods stock levels by $10M. Implement Logistics and warehouse Service level Agreements (SLA). Setup all new KPI’s for the entire Supply Chain. Implement 4PL. Setup supply chain operational infrastructure to export into Africa. Improve Free cash-flow ($5M) and working capital. Increase payables from COD 30 days. Regional Supply Chain Manager, Middle East

JCI provide solutions for operating buildings effectively and efficiently to increase a building's
energy efficiency and operational performance. Responsible for products and services include
HVAC&R equipment and control systems, industrial and commercial refrigeration, fire and security
systems and service for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Review existing procedure/
policies and examine opportunities to streamline purchasing, procurement and financial forecasting.
Responsible for all regional procedures, policies, budget and savings initiatives.
Achievements : Initiate additional savings of $2.5M to setup consolidated warehouse in Dubai. Reduces total freight bill by $2M. Involved in the merger and acquisition process - drive the merger of Middle East supply chain and logistics requirements. Align all processes with SOX 404 regulations and world wide standards. Coordinates with materials management, engineering and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of the proper materials and services (3 manufacturing facilities; Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Dubai). Provide analysis to increase levels of service (95%) at reduced costs (10%).
