• Proactive Monitoring and ensuring of health and safety performance in the workplace as stated in the UCC IMS HSE procedure
• Complying and implementing of new site HSE rules and regulations of the local authority (QCS 2014 and UDC HSE-)
• Conducting daily induction and weekly toolbox meetings for all workers include staffs.
• Conducting daily routine Health and safety inspections, and Preparing of HSE Observation Reports.
• Conducting monthly Inspection to Fire protection systems and ensuring that active condition in the routine site safety tour.
• Providing precautions and reviewing of safe systems of work to all critical activities before performing the tasks
• Reporting of non- compliance with IMS HSE and local authority procedure & accident and incidents/ Near miss.
• Reminding all workers that the safety in the best policy and to target zero accidents.
Conduct daily and weekly toolbox meetings. • Conduct daily safety inspection, safety coordination meeting. • Keep Inspection of necessary work permit whenever to begin the task • Availability of safety personnel at all times in workplace to monitoring activities • Preparation of daily observation reports that submit to HSE manager • Conducting HSE internal training such as Safety Harness training, Chemical Handling training, manual handling training, Fire watchman training etc. • Promote positive safety cultures in the workplace. • Supervise all works on project in-line with safe practices and safety requirements of the main contractor. • Find out the unsafe act and unsafe condition in the workplace take remedial measures for their elimination. • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments at the workplace to identify any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace. • Monitor the receipt of material/equipment at the site and ensure only approved material/equipment is accepted for use of site. Verify subcontractor's documentation for the material/equipment received. • Recommend reasonable and practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk at the workplace. • Conducting safety analysis of work operations to identify and isolate the hazards. • Provide technical guidance on the aspects of Risk Management to the company and professionals. • Enforce and improve workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental control standard at the workplace. • Inspect, Investigate incidents, and rectify any Environment, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS ) non-compliances. • Put necessary safety precaution before starting any task to avoid risk. • Conduct pre-task before carrying out the task ( a ) .higher risk which could cause death or property damage ) • Advise the workers for use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE ) in workplace • Any other duties as assigned by the superior ).
