• Focusing Delivery Metrics, Customer complaints, Quality Consistency of supplier, Communicating Supplier PPM & IPPM of Suppliers.
• Conducting Supplier Review meeting on Monthly basis & focusing on improvements of product Quality & Quality Systems.
• Focusing on Change control method, Supplier Lead time, Change in Supplier BOM, Change in Packaging, Change in process, FIFO, 2 BIN System,
• Developing Process Control & Process Effectiveness at supplier end.
• DRM review, Rejection & Gap Analysis at Machine shop for Cylinder Block, Head and Seating Components.
• Inspection of Casting defects for Engine Cylinder Block and Cylinder head, thereby producing Deviations and Flash report for rejections.
• Final Quality Assurance of Assembled Seats & Reviewing O.E complaints from customer.
• In process Quality Assurance of Cylinder Block & Cylinder Head Machine Shop & Seating assembly.
• Inspection of machined components as per control plan & Lay out inspection.
• First off & sample approval of Liner bore honing and Surface Roughness inspection for Cylinder Head and other related components.
• Performing Corrective action for Non- conformities at machine shop & at Assembly of Seats.
• Performing PFMEA for the Processes at machine shop, assembly and updating with CFT Team.
• Special Process Qualification monitoring and maintaining record.
• Performing PPAP and its documentation for Existing projects at machine shop, updating the same with CFT Team.
• Evaluating and Performing Process Capability (Cp, Cpk and Pp, Ppk) at machine shop with user department for New Projects and for Significant Processes.
• Implementing and performing Kaizen and Poke Yoke at machine shop.
• Problem Solving, Root Cause analysis, Reducing quality problems & Corrective action by performing 8D report and working with 7QC tools.
• Preparing Action plan, Monitoring In-house PPM, Process Audit Planning & Scheduling.
• Coordinating for New Projects, Tryout of components and approving the same with Development team.
• Q alert (Q-Point) Generation, Preparation of Operating Procedure.
• Calibration of Gauges at machine shop, assembly and Incoming Inspection as per standards.
• Coordinating with New Projects department for all Measurement activities.
• Handling all Measuring Instruments & Calibration of Instruments.
• Calibration frequency monitoring & updating using Frequency setup method for gauges under critical operations.
• Action Plan for the components inspected by rejected gauges.
• Performing Attribute Gauge study for gauges used under critical operations.
• Performing MSA Plan and Evaluating MSA study for all critical measuring instruments and all MMD’s periodically, which includes,
