Principal Responsibilities
• Managing flow of goods from Vendor all over the world to the warehouse in an efficient and cost-effective way. Few Vendors included AMD, Seagate, Intel, Dell, Toshiba, Lexmark, HGST, TP Link, Sapphire, Dell, Prestigio, and Ubiquity.
• Managed and co-coordinated with subordinates in the purchasing function both, local and overseas, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of products
• Ensured on-time availability of materials. Maintained follow-up with suppliers on goods delivery. Handled all queries and relevant complaints.
• Negotiating with Freight forwarders about prices and organizing clearance of goods to the warehouse.
• Arranging of shipments delivery to the customers & subsidiaries
• Arranging inter-company transfers upon request
• Following problematic shipment (delays, refusals and other irregularities - but not discrepancies), sorting out the problems with related freight agents for the benefit of Asbis and its customers
• Arranging special customs and shipping documents upon sales/customers requests
• Planned and scheduled all distribution services including receiving, storage and shipping, handling of returned goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner.
• Analyzing LCs(Letter of Credit) and preparing Shipping document as per LC
• Control over proper delivery process
• Managing audits conducted by Vendors.
• Responsible for organizing Exports to Turkey, North Africa and GCC countries.
• Responsible for organizing Imports from Fareast, Prague, Netherlands.
• Concurrent Audit for Seva Vikas Co-operative Bank Ltd, Pimpri (Pune)
• Income & Expenditure Audit for Bank of Maharashtra (Pune)
• Audit of Educational Academy, Charitable Trusts, Charitable Hospitals
• Finalization of Accounts for Partnership Firms/Proprietary concerns
• Ascertaining the requirements and devising management information system including budgets, estimates and other periodical reports.
• Carrying out Physical Inventory checks and Inventory Analysis in terms of discrepancies, valuation, movement and conditions of materials.
