Control Systems in Main Gathering Centre and Pressure Maintenance Plant. (Allen Bradley -PLC 5, SLC 500 and Control Logix PLC, Siemens - S7-400 PLC, Wonderware SCADA, RSView SCADA, Foxboro I/A DCS, Emerson Delta V DCS, Yokogawa Centum CS3000 DCS)

•Wellhead RTU’s (Weatherford, EXS1000, DrSCADA), Radio communication servers, Sub-centre PLC’s (YOKOGAWA Stardom & Prosafe PLC’s), SCADA server & Client Workstations (DATAC RealFlex SCADA).

•Review and comment for Vendor Work Scope, Instrumentation and control design documents including P&ID, I/O list, C&E matrix, Instrument data sheets, Loop drawings, Inspection & Test Plan, Installation, Startup & Commissioning procedures and Participate in Site Acceptance Test.

•Schedule and implement Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for all the instruments and control systems in the Plant. Develop and maintain proper records for scheduling jobs, Work permits, reports, management of inventory/spares, reordering, backup and recovery procedures for instrument/control systems.

•Investigates and troubleshoots maintenance problems, do Root Cause Analysis, Failure Analysis - reliability improvement and recommend predictive actions to be taken to avoid such failures & Suggestions to improve Plant control systems reliability and availability.

•Ensure good housekeeping practices and safe working atmosphere with proper work permit system follow up. Suggest and implement any modification or up gradation of the instrumentation system through JO (KGOC-CHEVRON) management of change process (MOC).

•Installation, Maintenance and calibration of Process Instruments such as Pressure, Level, Differential Pressure, Flow Transmitters and Configuration of Fieldbus Instruments through DCS or HART communicator as per specified Hook up (Process Connection) Drawings.


Involved Wafra Automation Project
•Supervision of Calibration, Erection, Commissioning of Field Instruments & Control Panels.
•Commissioning of SCADA.
•Installation of instrumentation and cable work to PLC’s.
•Verify instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
•Secure product safety in accordance with established standards.
•Ensure that work programs and schedules are completed safely, efficiently effectively and within the planned time scales.
•Experience in flawless commissioning startups.
•Able to review all problem areas encountered during commissioning in conjunction with the construction manager and ensure solutions resulting in plant modifications to not effect overall plant integrity.
•Able to prepare an overall commissioning report.

• About 12 years of experience as an instrumentation and control systems engineer in detailed maintenance, commissioning and development co-ordination of instruments and control systems in Oil and Gas Plant. Installation, calibration and loop checking of the field instruments
• Designing, Implementing and Commissioning of new control loops as per site requirements.
• Review of control philosophy, P&I diagram, cause & effect diagrams, instruments list, flow chart, cause and effect diagram.
• Preparing master data sheet for PM schedule; ensuring safe and efficient performing of CM
• Technical Support for the instrumentation team.
• Spares balance investigation and inventory control for all instruments’ spare parts.
• Proficiency in administration and troubleshooting in LAN/WAN environment
• Well experienced in a small to medium size networks with Cisco Routers and Switches.
