I) CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT

Acts as focal point in communications and coordination for contract & commercial issues.

Organizes regular Contract Follow up Meetings and Progress Meetings with various stakeholders to discuss contractual & commercial matters such as the following;
- Unresolved or pending issues
- Current or new issues raised
- Recommendations or proposed resolutions to issues
- Formulation of resolutions to issues
- Progress analysis
- Contractual & commercial clarifications on terms and conditions of contract if and when enquiries are raised

Organizes internal meetings and confer regularly with Management and relevant Department Heads to discuss the following;
- Issues on contractual risks
- Milestones and time schedules
- Analysis of issues that tend to delay progress of activities and formulate corresponding resolutions.

Coordinates with Company's legal and contract staff as well as financial staff to resolve all contract & commercial issues and facilitate negotiation of client contract terms and conditions.

Communicates with various projects’ stakeholders to facilitate resolutions of current and pending issues.

Develops and manages the required contractual & commercial relationships with the clients and contractors on the assigned contracts for implementation.

Coordinates and Interfaces with other teams to meet overall program deliverables

Assists with the negotiation of projects’ contracts.

Assists with the development of the contracts strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices

II)CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATION

Leads and manages the contract administration function for the projects.

Organizes and processes correspondence with contracting parties, and monitors & record compliance with contractual obligations for the projects.

Maintain records and filing system for contract documents, variations, minutes of meetings, monthly reports, weekly reports, logbooks & record of letters and. transmittals.

Reviews Variations/Claims for processing

Ensures the correct execution of procedures for verification of progress payments, variations, claims and compliance with commercial terms & conditions of contracts.

Supervises a team of contract administration staff to ensure that processing of documents, verification of progress payments & invoices and preparation of reports meet the required deadlines.

other Commercial and Contractual requirements submitted by Subcontractors, and
recommended corresponding action, either rejection, approval, amendment or
revision.

f) Reviewed Interim Payment Applications to Client and from Subcontractors.

g) From time to time, provided advice to the Project Control Manager and Site Manager
on Contractual Issues and miscellaneous matters when I was called to provide such
advice.

h) Prepared letters and reply letters to Subcontractors and Sadara on contractual
matters.

i)Checked and finalized letters and reply letters to Subcontractors initiated by other
disciplines or departments.

j) Recorded and prepared MOM for Weekly Thursday Construction Meeting
(Teleconference) : KSA and South Korea participants.

k) Recorded and prepared MOM for Weekly Wednesday Construction Meeting for Inside
Kingdom KSA participants.

l) Recorded and prepared MOM for Kick Off Meeting with each new Subcontractor.

m) Checked and finalized various narrative Plans on different Safety Topics submitted to
Sadara for approval.

n) Checked Status of outstanding Transmittals and correspondence and helped in
pushing for needed action.
