Key Duties:
• Responsible for effective design of well trajectories such that it meets the directional & geological objectives
• Responsible for Directional Drilling Technical Proposal which covers detailed drilling engineering analysis for Drill-bit, Drillstring design - Hydraulics, Torque & Drag, BHA Vibration & Tendency as well as lessons learned, offset well analysis and risk-registers, which aids in delivering Well Drilling Program
• Monitor real-time directional drilling operations, intervene & support field personnel in achieving well objective and ensure geological target is intersected
• Responsible for carrying out post well analysis, highlighting the lessons learned and implementing the same for future wells in order to improve the overall drilling efficiency
• Understand new technology, carry out feasibility study and present it to Client such that it brings value to the project and even look at its potential application such that it exceeds their expectations
• Collect and collate information to monitor performance indicators (KPIs), to measure the quality and cost effectiveness of and benchmark drilling performance

Work Experience:
• Involved in well engineering, execution & evaluation process for major project operated from Semi-sub rig - West of Shetland, North Sea (~600m Water Depth), which is a challenging environment - with tough weather conditions and high compressive strength, interbedded formations
• Involved in well engineering, execution & evaluation process for drilling wells from platform rig in Northern North Sea (~145m Water Depth), which is a development field - with tight ECD margin, stuck pipe risks & high well collision environment
• Involved in drilling engineering analysis for HPHT well including temperature modelling, logging/ measurements suite & drive system feasibility study and detailed risk analysis
• Provided support to Major North Sea Clients - Total E&P UK Ltd, Nexen Petroleum UK & Centrica Energy
