Job Objective:
To provide an end-to-end procurement service aligned with the procurement and purchasing policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Purchasing of General items and Services.
• Ensures the Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) Cycle time is maintained as per the policies and procedures of procurement department via SAP system.
• Maintains cost consciousness by getting a minimum of three quotations for each Purchase Order (PO).
• Ensures All POs are either having 3 quotations or the last price checked and approved by procurement director or having MD approval via manual or SAP system.
• Maintains the prequalification terms and conditions and ensures that all supplier prequalification the company deals with are qualified as per the company policy. Ensures implementation of all awarded suppliers are Pre-qualified via SAP system.
• Manages all advanced payment are secured either by security check or bank guarantee. Ensures implementation on All advance payment is backed up by security cheque or Bank Guarantee and the payment request submitted to accounts within 24hours of approved PO.
• Ensures that the delivery of materials is agreed with the suppliers prior raising the Purchase Order (PO) and closing of the Purchase Order (PO). Ensures material delivery to be confirmed and agreed with supplier prior PO raised, ensure closing of PO on monthly basis for all non-required items and report to be submitted to Procurement Manager.
• Manages and secures negotiations from top suppliers to maximize cost and savings.
