Project: Saudi Electricity Company (SCECO) Network Engineer (March 2013 - JAN 2017)
• Design & Update Network using MS Visio.
• Worked on 7200 VXR, ASR1006, 3800, 3900, 2900, 2800 series Routers.
• Worked on 6500 VSS, 4500, 3500, 2900 series & 3700 stackable Cisco switches.
• Handle the tasks of providing support in network acquisition and analyzing network traffic requirements Using Intermapper, Net flow, cisco works etc.
• Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting of Cisco Switches & Routers.
• Visiting local Sites for network troubleshooting.
• Replacing or diagnosing faulty switches & Routers.
• Upgrading Cisco IOS on routers and switches.
• Taking the backup of Cisco IOS and configuration of switches and routers.
• Using Netflow Network Tool to monitor the traffic flow and utilization.
• Controlling Routing Traffic through Route-maps, IP-Prefix-List, Access-List (Policy Based Routing)
• Installing Access points Connectivity to Access Switches.
• Performing Backups of IOS, Start-up Configuration & Up gradation of Cisco IOS through TFTP Server. • Checking the Network Connectivity & wireless Connectivity as well.
• Configuring BGP & OSPF for Central and Remote sites Network in Central and remote sites by coordinating with service provider for appropriate Local and Remotes AS number along with WAN IPs.
• Configuring and creating VLANs and VTP as well on Core, Distribution and Access layer switches.
• Configuring Controller cards in High End Routers Like 7200 Series Routers for multiple serial (E1) Links of remote sites to have multilink using PPP (Point to Point Protocol)
• Configuring Ether channel, VPC, SVIs for DATA and VOICE VLANs for upcoming Projects for new Devices and Servers Connectivity.
• Monitoring All Regions with Different Service Providers (STC, MOBILY, SEC, VSAT, and National Grid)
• Open ticket with Service provides once we diagnose the Issue is from link outage.
• Doing escalation as per the procedures & Following up with Agreed Escalation Matrix on Time SLA.
• Maintain the LAN & WAN connectivity Issues as First Level Troubleshooting for Cisco Devices.
• Maintain the wireless LAN port Cisco Switches.
