Recruit, lead, support and assess translation team. Create deadlines and oversea team’s work. Effectively communicate to the team, the details of the project, and their expectations, and responsibilities.
Private foreign language tutoring/independent language acquisition training. Ability to communicate freely and effectively via phone, e-mail and internet. Experience teaching reading, writing, grammar, and listening/speaking to non-native English speakers at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels in a post-secondary environment. Experience using current technology for one-on-one and/or online instruction.
Teach various beginner level English language courses such as Life Skills and Financial Literacy, in which students learn English in order to engage in regular day-to-day activities. Lead Walking/Driving tour guide. Familiarized newly arrived refugee status immigrant English learners with various locations (bank, library, post office, pharmacy, etc.) throughout their local community to accustom them to their new environment, and teach necessary skills such as how to send a letter or write a check.
Instructed grades K-6 in Islamic Studies and physical education lessons. Produced lesson plans and assessments.
The Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Training Technical Professionals (BSTTTP) is designed to prepare instructors and trainers for post-secondary educational institutions, industry, public and private agencies engaged in education and the training of adults. This degree focuses on producing instructors who primarily teach subjects within a technical specialty at the post-secondary level.
