Ghadan 21 Project - Client’s Senior Project Manager managing Lead Design Consultants, Supervision engineers and
Contractors on multiple projects throughout Abu Dhabi Island with a combined value of AED 850 million

A member of the Real estate development team responsible for the day to day management of healthcare
construction projects within Pakistan, Nigeria and Kenya.
Acting as client’s project/project manager in all matters related to management of design and construction (time, cost
and quality) to meet the project objectives

Project Manager dealing with main contractors and consultants on various small and large scale projects all over the UAE and occasionally worldwide. Also dealing with local authorities with all types of permits and responsible for resolving design or contractual issues to include -

1) Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of all projects.
2) Prepare, supervise and approve the development of PEP from construction point of view and its implementation plus ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project including Project Close-out.
3) Plan, developed and organize the construction efforts to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and implement the execution of that plan.
4) Implementation of the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, commissioning of the facilities in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved project schedule and QA/QC plan.
5) Monitor and report to the Project Director including progress, risks and opportunities, safety issues and the areas of concerned in weekly and monthly meetings.
6) Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented
7) Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.
8) Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.
9) Adhere to office Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the Company.
10) Inspect the completed works and issue taking over certificates.
11) Review and certify the closeout documents for each project included in the final settlement.

ETA - MEP Construction Manager
MEP Construction Manager in charge of the Complete Bus bar installation as well as all ELV and technical rooms currently under construction in the clinic area of the 7 star Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi.
In charge of labour and materials for my associated areas and acting as a liaison with ETA and the main contractor during daily site meetings. Also in charge of motivating a multi national work force.
Laing Traditional Masonry - Site Manager April 2012 - Present

Responsible for day to day running of a large site for bespoke joinery works to include lead and roof works. Manage all sub contractors, Health and safety on site to include site inductions, site meetings and tool box talks, First Aider and ensuring the contract runs smoothly.

Briggs Marine Civil Engineering - Civil Foreman Jan 2012 - April 2012

Responsible for assisting the site agent and project manager in carrying out Pier and Jetty repairs for Calmac ferries and Shell Oil to include managing labour, materials, tool box talks and enforcing all Health and safety on site.

JF Construction Solutions - Company Owner Feb 2010 - Dec 2011

Established a new construction company in difficult times for the sole reason of gaining employment due the lack of suitable management posts within the construction industry as a result of the recession. Responsible for building up good relationships with several architects, tendering for domestic and commercial contracts, meeting potential clients, dealing with several contracts of various sizes at the same time as well as keeping all company accounts and payroll up to date. Responsible for all health and safety on site and good knowledge of the CDM Regs as well as providing method statements due to receiving SMSTS training recently.

Responsible for numerous building contracts for the above company which included site supervision, first aid, health and safety, material and man management all whilst carrying out building and joinery works unsupervised.
