equipment which utilises, hydraulic and pneumatic principles. 2. Performance of general machining
operations required for Maintenance duties. 3. Carrying out all general types of welding as needed for
Maintenance and running repairs. 4. Examine, diagnose, modify and repair systems used to operate electro
mechanical, electro-hydraulics, electro-pneumatic packaging and production plant. 5. Carrying out all
preventive and breakdown maintenance functions of machineries including removing and installing electric
motors, gearbox, compressors, conveyors, bearings, maintenance and repair of mechanical transmission
assemblies, valves and pumps, general factory pipe work, installation and fabrications, lubrication of
production equipment as well as running adjustments to production machinery. 6. Carrying out routine
inspection and preventive maintenance on fixed plant equipment, large rotating machinery and generators.
7. Reading and interpretation of drawings. 8. Carrying out general electrical works. 9. Carrying out general
plumbing Works and firefighting works. 10. Working at Heights and confined space works. 11 . Available to
work all days, all times and readiness for overtime and shutdown works.

and implementation of strategies to improve the performance and efficiency of production and plant
activities. 3. Coordination of the construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machines in
industrial plants. 4. Identification and resolving technical issues and problems in industrial plants 5. Using
established systems to recognise and control at-risk behaviours and situations, and support the interaction
of personnel and equipment in production activities.
